Null and proud of it
Thanks dude...
I'm kind of a private person as well.
thanks for sharing...
honestly, I seem cold but if the person doesn't want help...all you can do is create distance. They will either find their way back
or fade into the night. For me personally (and for your wife with you)...it became clear my only job was protecting Z and I did what
I had to do without adding fuel to the fire due to my own ego and hurt feelings. It's served me well and I'm happy to report everyone
involved in the fiasco is doing well now.

Nah, I set my mind to it and I quit drinking. The last time I touched the booze was September 30, 2020.

We all gotta do what it takes to make it to the next day.

I mean, there's enough residual meth in the Floriduh drinking water, that I bet you don't really need to drink to feel good. Just hydrate.

Last weekend was decent but I got redirected with a
Got a new drill out of it because the battery on my old one died and I found out that the GD *charger* is dead. So I rage quit Craftsman and bought a Dewalt since I've got the battery system already. Starting to consolidate to one brand.
So I'm eyeballing this weekend to hopefully get the other slider on. Should be nice, just need to stay sober long enough.

Yep.
Last weekend was decent but I got redirected with a"honey-do" "asshole-do" project. Made up three 4'x6' panels for our Class 17 Lanai porch. A quick and cheapy solution made from 1x3 pine and reed landscaping fence. The short story is that it's a huge tri-fold blocker to go around the beehive that now sits on the porch. Trying to direct the bees up and out instead of letting them go all over the yard when they leave the hive.

I like your asshole do projects!
That's awesome...
funny you mention that...I went the opposite route...between chargers and batteries I now have ALL the chargers for every brand so I can cross shop best price and deal when I "need" something.
Actually thanks to @1StGenCL I now have a Tesla lawnmower...he passed along a kobalt push mower...ended up buying a clearance chainsaw just for the battery. So literally I have Dewalt, Milwaukee,
Makita, Kobalt and Ryobi now...
Batteries on my 12 year old Makita impact are cooked...just bought a no name brand duo of 3.0ah 18v batteries from Amazon. I thought about just buying another set that includes the batteries
but I'm fighting the "throwaway" society I bitch about. I could jump start the batteries to take a charge but really a dead few cells is going to need that jump every time.
