It was sort of miserable... Expected Austin to be cooler than Houston now but it wasn't. Mid 90s and with humidity the "feels like" was 104F. Very little breeze too. But it was an adventure.
Now it's back to school and back to just daytrips to the beach in G-Town.

Very true. Kids still had a great time splashing around in the Colorado river, playing with fire, eating camp food (s'mores are every meal!), and sleeping in a tent.
Plus we got to see all kinds of cool outdoorsy animals. And got to pet some baby goats at the brewery we ate at on the way out. Goats are awesome!

Bro went to an Alpaca farm and it was awesome.
The lady was annoyed because she was telling us the difference between
Alpacas and LLamas and she grilled Z on which one had which characteristics
and she got every one wrong.
