Was a 3-day weekend but sure as heck doesn't feel like it. Time to go back to work already??

Null and proud of it
Uh no.
We were acquired by a 50 site corporate based company last year.
I'm in the week long management fast track course right now.
I'm being trained on leadership skills so that I could either get my own site or an administration role in the future.

Honestly, I'm glad to hear it, Wesley.
That whole whoah is me life is so hard so lemme suck these vagrant dicks and then whine about it isn't cute into your 30's.
Well wishes on that and I hope you do take it seriously and try and look at the big picture...set a goal and have at it.

Thanks.
We even discussed "personal goals and big picture" in our class yesterday. Very interesting and inspirational stuff right there! :thumbsup!
No. This isn't Woody's, but it is a similar, conveyor style wash.
We actually have about 8 brands in our company totaling with 50 sites, with my particular brand having 5 sites.
My site is known for the video Majofo posted a couple of years ago.

Yeah, things are normal again now... I think. We got electricity back yesterday afternoon. It went out Monday at 2am and we'd get brief service for like 20 minutes every 8 hours or so. Tuesday we had 45 minutes of power all day... 20 min at 5:50am, and 25 min at 1:30 pm. Was just enough to keep a little charge on the cell phone (which wasn't working because Verizon's towers shit the bed too) but not enough to actually warm up the house, or chill down the fridge.
But the weather has warmed up enough that it seems like the power plants can run again. Most of the outages are supposed to be fixed now.
Luckily we have a gas fireplace and a gas stove top so we could keep warm and cook food. Nights were chilly but manageable. Others were not so fortunate so I can't complain too loudly.
It was basically 3 days of cabin life. Which is fine if you stay in a cabin by choice... Pretty shitty when you're in suburbia and pay money to have basic necessity utilities.

Ironically, the thing we were least prepared with was alcohol. I usually swing by the liquor store on the way home from the office, but since I've been working from home, those trips have been fewer. We'd run out of a lot of booze because I'd been waiting for one of my mandatory office call-ins to replenish, but icepocalypse caught us offguard.
I was drinking some pretty terrible pijiu that we just use for cooking.
But had a couple celebratory beers last night.
