Ive only researched the 3/4s din as it would fit in the cubby without too much modification.

I'm sure you're creative and can come up with the plate you are talking about!

6.2" w x 1.8" h x 6.4" d

the ad218
6.3" w x 1.2" h x 6.7" d

I decided to do a carpc instead of the dvd player.
because the dvd player is outdated.
the pc would be able to hold songs and movies and pictures.( i still havent done the carputer, yet) i have most parts for it tho.

but then, now, it seems like the pc is dated.
I really like that thread that was just created. android integration

Excellent. I finally found a good auto shop in MD, and they're right down the block from me. Curry's automotive just opened a brand new shop and they've got state of the art Hunter equipment (in the ground alignment machines & load force balancing machines) and they can handle up to 22" wheels. sweeeet. good prices and customer service too.

majofo, did you do your filter and 3rd and 4th pressure switches too, or are you going to do them during #3 fill?

I've actually been putting off doing the inline filter and cooler. It's tough to dedicate a day for maintenance so it's the top priority stuff first.

I hear that.
I had planned to do my filter ( the little stock one) and pressure switches during the 3x3, should I wait and do it a little after that?

I also have to do all this in my Ody, plus a,b,c, solenoids. That's the one I'm not looking forward to.

Tell me about it. My X TC isn't locking up very well in 1st and 2nd.. It slips until you let off the throttle. I'm almost at my wits end trying to get it to settle down. I'm a bit paranoid messing with it's fluids at this point.

You can do the switches anytime really. Just make sure you keep the area clean when you swap them out. The filter last.

well if it's already slipping that badly, you might as well give fluids a shot. It sounds like it might be going out prematurely anyway.

Cool, I'll stick with my plan to do everything on the 3x3. I'll drain the fluid, then do the rest of the stuff, then refill.

My fill bolt was so tight , I had to use a breaker bar to get it off. Broke my damn socket wrench in the process. Took it back and got another one free. Lifetime warranty FTW. My old one was around 25 years old.

yeah, I use a 12" impact extension and impact socket with a breaker bar. It can be a bitch to remove.

Well.. I'm thinking of trading it in..

Thing is, the X is paid off. Not having a car payment has been pretty good.

I'm seriously thinking of getting an IS-F, C/E63 AMG, or e60 M5... then I'm like.. might as well spend a little more and get a GT-R. Fuck, then it's a huge car note, insurance premiums, etc. I'm too chang to spend any money.

If the trans needs a rebuild, I know a real good guy. $1k - $1.5k, better than new. Not a big deal.. just a hassle.

It's still near the top of the list.

Unless I can get a 2nd Gen CTS-V Wagon for the same price.
