I don't think they are going to do a 4G Type-S. The 2G TL ran for 5 model years and the 3G TL for 5 years as well. The 4G is on their 4th model year now so I would assume the 5G will be announced sometime soon.

Just a guess though

If the powers-that-be suddenly gain some smarts, they'll retire the 4G as soon as they possibly can. It's time for a re-boot of the TL.

Agreed. I think Acura did an awesome job with the MMC but it's time to move onto a new design.

I'm in love with the interior of the 4G TL though

Tyler how come you dont have the Acura letters on the front of your car filled in? With stickers or paint? It would look nice with your grill...

I had them for almost two years but got sick of them. I like the basic and uncluttered look of the front I have now.

Anyone else finding recently the pages here slow to load, slow to save posts and in a lot of cases you have to click more than once or twice to even get a thread to open?


I belong to 6 or so forums and this is the only one like that.

Just thought I'd post a few recent pics.

I helped a buddy black out his headlights today and plastidip his grill. Took a long ass time since it was both of our first time doing it (I paid JNC for mine) but it came out nicely. I also installed some LEDs in my car in a few cool places....PS 10 points to whoever guesses what the switches are for lol
