On a side note some dingle berry in a z4 tried racing me I guess on the hwy driving down to San Antonio yesterday. Was doing a good 90 just chillin and this dick gets on the hwy catches me then starts inching forward and back but staying even with me. I'm not down for "racing" on street roads with what I consider regular cars but Im pretty sure I could have got him. Not sure about the weight on those but it is a pretty light car so maybe not...

Meant ATF. PSF isn't getting done until next week earliest. I can post pics.
Majofo, when you do your PSF are you going to drain reservoir dry, or try and cycle fresh fluid thru it? Just curios. Are you planning on changing reservoir and hoses as well?

I'm only at 57k, if I have to do the o-ring ( still need to verify if thats my problem) I'll probably just do fluid as well.

No hate, the weight savings doesn't match the cost. It would have been better to vinyl wrap the hood.

Great looking Accord, very clean. Even stock, it's leagues ahead of the 4G TL.

Anyone know if the type s muffler is a straight swap with the base?

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...._EX._MUFFLER#

The tips I bought to fit the type s rear lip aren't sitting properly cause one is bent so I need to replace the whole muffler.

Looks clean. How do these hold up to flying debris on the freeway?

I'd be more worried about how it holds up to the elements. I've seen a few CF hoods that look like ass, from what I assume must be weather exposure.
It looks great now though.

went to visit car today!
everything is fixed suspension and underbody wise.

slight problem with steering.
shop says stiff steering at parking lot speeds is a problem.
they're going to tear into the steering column...

this is where my ride sleeps.
look at her bunkmates

Do they think the steering column is bent

well, my car always ALWAYS displayed this behavior.
at parking lot speeds, very stiff.
I have a 6MT, so i tap the gas to activate the steering pump to make steering loose.

they say its not normal.
and will be tearing into it, this week and next. I should have it by next week.

Have them "fix" the steering and give you the GT-R as a loaner

Justn, if indeed it feels normal, take it back.

Also, did they clean up the primate semen on the back seat?

Haha, I was implying it was justyns problem but I'm sure he'll be happy that your taking full responsibility of the crab out breaks.

Can anyone hook it up with a link to a thread for base muffler to type s muffler swap?
I found 1 that didn't answer my question and am having a hard time searching on my phone.

yea alot of them start to look bad, clear coat wise after a few years. she got in a fender bender and we decided to go ahead and get the carbon fiber hood since we needed a hood anyway.

I just want the tips and the muffler. I'm not exactly sure I'm using the correct termonology but the part that is connected to the tips. In the link I posted earlier it's item #14. I think the piece that hangs it up is different but other than that is it the same. I'm not trying to change any pipes, just the 2 end/outlet parts? If that makes any sense.

Sorry again that this all might sound a bit retarded, but I've only done exhaust work on my Titan and even then I wasn't sure what all I purchased

That's probably the only reason I could see myself buying a CF hood too. Yall gonna paint it or leave as is?

^nice hood. if it's parked outside under the sun all day, just get it recleared once a year to bring back the luster. $100-$150 job.

if it stays garaged or under a cover, you're in good shape.

I wish our TL's had a sexy CF hood. Since our hoods only cover half of the front and is surrounded by the two fenders.....CF hood looks fugly =0
