yea it sucked man. for two years i drove that truck all winter with no heat or defrost. i sort of got used to it. i figure now that i have something to drive full time (the tl) i can start taking the truck apart and fixing shit on it.

yea i fucked up with the 300... its all back together now but like i said, took twice as long lol. Plus i tore down the heads and everything else so i had all those bolts and nuts just to get an assembled motor so i didnt need half that shit lol

Fuck yes.. zip lock bags, sharpie and pics if you can, even though it takes twice as long by documenting it.
You might think your mind is sharp enough to remember where every nut bolt and wire went.. until you come to a point where you say fuck!!!!!.. and end up tear it down again for something simple you forgot to replace.

better... .didnt need to put any money into it almost at all... got to get a transmission pan gasket, oil, transmission ATF+4, coolant and donezo... 149.35 plus 2350 for the motor and 500 for the car. Sitting right at 3k and i can sell it for 10k+. all i need to do it love on the interior, paint, and wheels and this baby will be good to go!

personally, i have had something like 20 windshields replaced in the beaters that ive bought to sell and it looks simple enough to replace. that being said, i can tell you i will probably never attepmt it myself. too much riding on getting it seated properly and sealed. plus you have to worry about scraping all the old shit out and if you scrape the paint off the metal and you dont touch it up, then you get rust. no thanks, seen it happen way to much.

You'll love em if you get em! For the kind of wheel you get, they are excellent value. Rotary forged is pretty good stuff.

So I've noticed. I posted that much because I was at work. I seriously only visit here when I'm home if I need info for something I'm doing to the car at the moment or if I'm extremely bored.

I post when I'm at work, it helps the day go by faster. Here lately, we have new management and I've been having to do a ton of extra bullshit. Plus, the addition of the new lady friend, I'm finding myself home less and less..
