Looks good. But Most people will agree that going without navi is a big mistake. Who was it used by, rental agency, dealer...?

Thumbs down

I would say it is not worth it. Especially that you can easily buy a new one with no navi for $32k. I would say it is worth paying 2k more for a brands spanking new one. It will also increase your resale, so at the end it is less then $2k, plus you know the previous owner first hand and do not have to wonder how abused it was.

If you really don't want the Navi, then $28000 is more of a fair price.

don't buy a demo. if you want to lease it, then bring the price down to below 29, and use the same residual as a new car... then you have yourself a good deal. fyi, i paid 31k for 05/6MT/non navi... a lot of people have paid a lil less than that.

if you don't want navi, the price should be cheaper... more liek 28, for maybe 30,500 or 31,000 you can get a brand new non nav tl....

jgb15, 29999 is not a "great" deal for a car that already has 4100miles. Those 4100 miles is definitely among 2 things

1) Acura TL "known" problems (driving vibration, rattle, tire problems, etc.,)
2) Demo

You don't want either of those two things I mentioned above. #1 will give you more headache than anything else, you'll regret not spending extra few thousand dollars for a new one. And #2 isn't something you want neither. Most "Demo" cars are not properly broken in, and you might have problems years down the road.

I personally would advice you, "if you ever want to spend over $25k on a car, get a new one"

I would buy new and forget about the deal. I doubt after 4100 miles the person said they had to have a navi system and loose on the deal. With the latest price increase the invoice on that car is about 31,000 with a list of 34,000. They already made their money on that car if it was sold once. I would say it is not worth more than 28000 tops.

I bought a car once with 7,000 on it. The dealer gave me the phone number of the previous owner. I called him and he was surprised since he never told the dealer if this was ok to do. I was able to ask him why the car was traded in and he told me the reasons and any issues (if any) that he had with the car.

I agree, for the small difference in entry cost I'd stick with a new TL.

Strongly reconsider not getting Navi. It's one of the best systems on the market and is very much worth the price. You should have no problems negotiating something in the mid 33k point for a new 05 w/ Navi. Is saving 4k really worth it, especially if you can pick your color combo and have the peace of mind of knowing exactly where the vehicle has been?
