My died after 2 years and 5 months with 23k miles it was a Delphi Freedom battery. Dealer said they will warranty 50% and I pay the rest, the battery is $85 from dealer, they have to install it and that is another $54, I told them forget it I can get a better battery and install it myself. I heard Delphi is bankrupt. I'm reading everyone has the Delco battery not the Delphi or are they the same? How much crank power should I get for the replacement battery?

Mine is an 04 and still original battery. I have roughly 48,000 kilometers and battery still running fine. I am also running a 1300watt aftermarket stereo so I don't know why so many of your battery is dying out. Hmmmm...I wonder if my Buddy Club Voltage Stabilizer is keeping the battery alive longer.

acid was leaking out from the side, the car is totally stock with NAVI

2 years for battery is NOT ok. They should last at least 3-4 years. My prior TL 2003, 50 months - no problem.
