Decided not to get TL

Its been a few weeks since my post of me getting a used 04 TL. I completely changed the car I got, I bought a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer 66,200 miles great condition only $5,800. I thought about what car to get for awhile and I just couldnt get the TL with my moms money so I paid cash for the mountaineer with my own money and gave my mom the money she gave me for the TL. She didnt take the money back and put it in my bank account so thats how that whole story panned out. But now I like the mountanieer and now I dont have to worry about where its parked and all after all Iam 17 years old so I can have fun with it off roading and all. But thanks for your help.

We'll leave your user name like it is, so when you finally get a TL all we'll have to change is the year.

Good luck with your Mountaineer, and congratulations for doing the mature thing and saving your mom some money, which worked out good for you in the end.

Good choice. You are clearly mature beyond your years. Definitely save that money for a 4G TL or better yet, invest it and forget about it.

We'll still be here when you decide on a 4G TL.

Great path to follow. Definitely no regrets with that choice. I'm sure your parents are surpirsed and proud of your choice as well. Hope to see you back in a few years. Have fun Mountaineer.
