Need help with possibility of replacement part

Need help with possibility of replacement part

Hey all, new member and new owner of 2014 RLX Elite. There is only one issue I have with this beautiful car and it is some gouges in the trim on the side of the center console. I will attempt and attach a picture and I'm looking for any advice or an actual part name or number for this piece for replacement. The piece feels loose like it can possibly be replaced without having the entire console replaced. Thanks for any help or advice given. If not I'm looking for options on repairing.

It does not appear the faux metal trip piece is a sold separately, but instead the whole console box must be purchased, which includes both side panels and the center bin . It appears your interior color is black. If that is correct, this is the part # is

BOX *NH690L* (PREMIUM BLACK) - 2014 ACURA RLX SEDAN (83411TY2A01ZC)

It sells from OEM parts suppliers around $225 and up (USD).

*Paging pgeorg* Can you verify in the repair manual?

This is from the US parts store, part # 21.....

You can buy and change that piece, but it is a little expensive.

If you need instructions of how to swap the pieces, please let me know.

Correct, but he will need to swap the cupholder and the rest of the bits from the old one.

PGeorg and Tampa thank you for the quick response. I was afraid of that when I looked in the parts store. I thought the part number I needed would be 34 and the was essentially the entire counsel assembly. I just purchased it on Wednesday and sent my sales person an email explaining how I didn't see it during the test drive or on my way home. This is such a minor thing but this piece would complete this incredible car that I am thankful to have. I got such a good deal for this car I feel bad complaining about it

**** UPDATE*****
Im in awe to report that after speaking with the dealership he said an entire new counsel was ordered from California today and they are taking care of the replacement and providing a loaner while it's completed. I am through the roof happy. Again, thank you guys for the quick responses

^^^ Having and maintaining an excellent dealership relationship has paid huge dividends to me. I would not have my RLX SH without it, Sometimes you pay a little extra (they gotta pay for those Starbucks coffees and Otis Spunkmeyer muffins for service customers . But if you are pleased and confident with the service, keep that relationship happy. They are VERY rare in the auto biz.
