2016 RLX Owners

I notice a few posting from folks that said they have the 2016 RLX, I am curious as to their opinion of it and how the retuned suspension rides. Please provide some feedback to the forum. Thanks !

The only posting I read was from TampaRL who praised the improvements that he clearly noticed.

I too am curious if any others have driven a 16 model and their impressions.

The post seems to be getting a lot of readers but no repliers so I am starting to wondering if we have any 2016 RLX owners on this forum.

I know only of one 2016 RLX owner, and that is from one of his posts:

And i believe TampaRL has driven a 2016 P-AWS.....

I have a new RLX but I have no previous RLX driving experience to base a "2016 is better" review on. I really like the car. Fit and finish are excellent and IMO as good as the current crop of German/English offering unless of course you're prepared to pay another 40K+. The heavy discounts on this particular model make it even more attractive.

Not a lot of really bad roads when I usually drive so it's hard to be critical at this point in time with only 600 miles on the car.

How much of a discount did you get if I may ask? And did you buy a Tech or Advance? What color combo?

So...ummm.....

:-)

When you refer to paying 40K more to get a better car, is that before or after the heavy discounts?

been driving one for 2 weeks. the ride over harsh roads has dramatically improved while still keeping the great handling characteristic. love how they have included cmbs, lkas, and adaptive cruise standard with the tech package. love the new metallic gunmetal color on the wheels. this car is awesome.

The car is a Tech. Sticker was 55,350 as I recall and when it was all over and done with I was looking at an 8K discount. That included the dealer paying the registration tax which is about 1,250 in Nevada. End of the month deal with a car that had been on lot for almost 90 days.

i did. leasing the RLX. put 2 grand down, rolled in 3,800 negative equity. 36 months 569 a month at 10,000 miles. slapped body side moldings, spoiler and splash guard on it already. white with seacoast interior. im drooling over the mugen cf front lip. $2,400.00 is hard to swallow for a lip but i might still pull the trigger.

Welcome, Nexx.

Yes, $2400 is a lot to pay for a lip. That's why I haven't done it.
