New member here. I’ve had my 2020 RDX going on 2 months and initially when going in reverse BOTH mirrors would go down. I thought this was a really cool feature but all of a sudden they stopped going down. I scheduled a service today and the service guy acted like I must’ve been imagining things. They work the way they’re supposed to (switch to the left and the left mirror goes down when in reverse and vice versa). The service guy said if they WERE acting the way I described this was unusual. Either way I liked the fact that they would both go down instead of having to manually set it to the side you want. BTW I’m very disappointed in the gas mileage. Any thoughts?

 

Your mirrors are working the correct way as described by the service tech. Read your manual, it’s explained there. You can download it for free on the Acura Owners website.
