Hi,
I have a brand new 2020 acura rdx aspec and when I open the door while the car is off, I hear this white noise coming out of all the speakers. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it a problem to begin with?

This has been posted several times o this board. No real answer. There is a guess that the audio amp starts on door open.
My 2019 Advance has this white noise. Radio off, car off, accessory off but white noise from speakers. It sits for several days at a time with no battery problems.

Hi Tom, just post this same problem last weekend on the main page, its really concerning for a brand new car. at least theres two of us now.

 

It’s the active noise canceling (ANC) system. It will shut off in 30 minutes.

 

30 min of opening the door?

 

After door open or engine shut off. I know this from experience. When I was getting familiar with the new car, I one time got into the car, shut the door, and read the manual on my ipad. The hiss stopped after 30 minutes. Also, if you shut off the engine, don't open the door (and even if passenger get out), the radio will play for 30 minutes, then shut off.
