SIde Mirrors and Reversing

I noticed that when I first got my car, both side mirrors went down when transmission was in reverse. However, I can not get them to perform this function again. I know the answer is probably within the manual, but I am a lazy ass . Thanks

If the mirror switch is in the left position, the left mirror tilts in reverse. If it's right, the right tilts in reverse. If it's centered, neither tilts.

Oh yeah, BTW, RTFM!!

Just one at a time tilt. It's controlled by the little Left and Right toggle switch to adjust your mirrors. If you flip it to the right, then in reverse your right mirror will tilt.

Never did both tilt.

It's one or the other. As far as I know you can't have both move at the same time.

BTW, why don't you read through the 3G TL Garage section and learn all sorts of stuff about your TL before the natives get restless.

Words of wisdom, my friend.

If he's too lazy to read the manual, then the same probably applies to the 3G TL Garage Section.

True dat....but I thought at least he has the computer screen in front of him and with a "click" here and a "click" there he can be reading away about all sorts of things.

If he's reading this though, that 3G TL Garage section kicks as* though and is very informative.

I HTHINK we have the misspelling whore of the month!

But seriously, I was just joking about being lazy. I did review the manual, but my job keeps me busy and did not have time to review it at my desk. I still do have to pay for my beauty!

I was not familiar with the garage so thanks. Hey people, you all were new to this forum, so try being a little more friendly to those that join and don't discourage a post.

I don't think anyone is trying to discourage posting. Once you've spent some time on the board you'll start to realize how frustrating it can become to see the same posts over and over and over again when so much info is only a search away, or now a click on the garage away.

The first time or two is, of course, excusable. But when people refuse to utilize the tools at their fingertips and insist on asking a question that's been answered 100 times... n00b

Again, my attempt at levity has backfired. I have done more stupid things in the past.

I do research the forums and other tools at my disposal. Sorry if I come off as if I do not, I will try and do better research before asking a question. At least I did not mention any rattles.

Anyway, who cares, on with life!
