That looks like factory residue between transmission and transfer case. Wipe it clean and monitor for it reappearing. Also search in this section, there are other places where transmission might leak

Dealer said its from drive shaft grease. Cleaned, documented and will check again in couple of months.

verify what? Dont waste your time calling them. They will tell you to work out any issues with your dealer

I assume you are right. At least I had it documented. If I want to keep the car I guess extended warranty is a must for this car.

I had the same issue on my 2019. Dealer wiped it clean and almost two years later it is still clean..

Mine seems to have porous case https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-rdx-...-leak-1000489/ . Dealer will not address it unless something is dripping on the cover plate. I assume the loss of fluid is minimal, like 0.5-1oz every 30K miles? But who knows. Not very happy about this.

This is nothing to worry about. Just wipe it clean and inspect if any oil stain comes back during maintenance.
