You do know your RDX came from the factory with a cold air intake; don't you?

get hondata and tune the car!
if you're trying to do conventional mods on aturbo motor, you're in for a bad time...that's why there's tunes available.
flash a tune and you'll have an automatic 30+HP

You guys sound like the Mazdaspeeds crowd! I like the noise on my Speed, but am exploring what works best on our cars, and staying with it, even if it means no mods.

OEM intake is a "cold air intake".
If you want a true CAI, you need to custom build it.
Aftermarket intakes that go vroom-vroom (cone filters) are short ram intakes.

So, based upon your vast automotive knowledge, why is the OEM CAI not a "true CAI"?
