Made my decision after working with 8 dealerships in the area. The dealer I've purchased my previous 3 Acuras at came through with the best price.
I'm getting a 2020 SH-AWD Advance for $43,750 OTD (seriously, OTD - TTT, etc. included)
I'm in DC and if anyone is wondering the dealership is Chevy Chase Acura.
There were a few other dealerships that came super close - I got a couple of offers for $44,000 OTD as well.

Hey Guys - I just literally picked up a Blue AWD Aspec from Stevens Creek Acura. Got it for $42.2K OTD! Hopkins Acura in Redwood city was offering the same car (they have three of them) for $42K OTD, but I don't mind paying $200 extra since the dealership is much closer to my house and they had really good service. I essentially got every single incentive/rebate they had available.

Longtime lurker, finally made an account to share pricing on my new beast --
2020 SH-AWD Advance -- White
Selling price -- $43,800
Dealer incentive -- $750
Final price -- $43,050
Standard TTL
For what it's worth, I used Acurazine as leverage. When I e-mailed the dealerships (nearly end of the month, naturally), I included links to TrueCar, KBB, and Edmunds pricing, but then included a few links to deals here on this thread, and said that I expect the winning dealership will meet or beat those prices. They kinda met -- seen a few deals better, a few worse. Either way, much better than TrueCar / KBB / Edmunds pricing. And the best part -- total time invested: ~5 hours, including car pickup!

Hey Nearsite, are you sure its the AWD? I literally asked the Hopkins Acura and they are about $44K OTD with the tech package, which is even lower than a-spec. Can you share your experience?

I spoke with Raj from Hopkins Acura on Sunday morning. I called initially inquiring about their USED 2019 AWD Blue Aspec that was their loaner. I told Raj (from Hopkins Acura) that I was interested in their used Aspec because the best quote I had at the time was $45K from Steven's Creek Acura for a new 2020 AWD Blue Aspec. It seemed like Raj wanted me to buy a new one from them and told me he could beat Steven's Creek Acura's price.
He called me back within half an hour and offered $44K OTD for the 2020 AWD Blue Aspec (1 of 3 they had). The only reason I couldn't pick it up from them was because they told me I had to have my partner co sign (to get the loyalty incentive since she purchased a 2016 ILX). Steven's Creek only required a document with her ILX's VIN and an address we both shared and they were able to match the $44K quote. Just think, if I had purchased just a week earlier I would've paid an extra $1K.
You could call them again or head into their dealer and tell them you want to buy it right there and now if they can meet the $44K OTD price. They're gonna go back and forth, back and forth, just leave and tell them to call you when they can give you a YES on that deal.

Okay thanks, so you did pay for $44.2K OTD for your aspec but not $42.2K OTD like you've mentioned ealier right? Because that's a steal if it was!

Hey mate, you are LEGALLY NOT REQUIRED to wait 90 days! That's just dealer BS so they can collect 4.99% interest on your $41,400 principal for 3 months which costs you $750+.
Once the loan agreement is signed, dealer has nothing to do with it, and you can make the full payment online through Acura Financial and be done with it.
I got the same Red AWD Tech in NY for a similar price, but I opted for the 0.99% even though I could pay cash. Personal preference, but don't let them ruin your great deal. Enjoy!

i love listening to dealers outright lie. Last week I was talking numbers with a dealer and he had the nerve to tell me that Acura corporate would not allow him to sell the car for the price I was asking. I told him to just stop.

I don't have the paperwork in front of me but it was about a $6K discount off of MSRP before rebates. Dealer was using the remaining flex cash they had in their account at the end of the year. I should note that i bought 3 previous Acuras from this dealer.

Rebates were loyalty and then there was the other dealer discounts. The price I gave was the OTD price and does not include the trade. I did have a trade but that factored in after I negotiated the $43,750 OTD price

I dealt with two people. The GM Ralph Kolius - who was super easy to work with- and my sales guy was David Petty. My suggestion is to start with Ralph- he's really good. Then again I've been a customer at the dealership for over 10 years (4 cars I've bought from them now and all of our service is done with them.)

Big auto manufacturers tend to use just 1 standard loan agreement with clauses for specific states with additional protection laws. That’s where words like “avoid where prohibited” come into play.
So, of course dealers and Acura financial will tell you to wait 3-4 months, but that’s another way they make money.

I qualified for the loyalty and flex cash which totaled 2,250 which they applied to the down payment. Tags were around 300 and tax was 2600. I was going for 44,000 based on PeterM’s experience but they wouldn’t do it and I didn’t stand firm. But I am happy with the deal.

You can pay it off anytime. I purchased Dec 31 and received the finance rebate too. The finance manager told me I can pay it off immediately if I wanted to.

You and Peter got the Advanced version for almost the same price or cheaper than what I paid for the Aspec version ($44.2K OTD). You guys got great deals and I'm wondering if I now could've gotten the Aspec even cheaper since the base price is cheaper than the Advance version to begin with. Why do you guys think you got it so much cheaper than an Aspec version?

I am in the market for a 19/20 RDX because of a WANT not a NEED. My girlfriend has a TSX and I have a 17 CRV and the level of service for her acura is 100x better than mine with the Honda.
I live in CO and I want to get a new or certified A-Spec. The issue with certified is that any available are old loaners that are probably beat on. Every dealer I have talked to about a new one only has the 2020 model and won't move on price at all. This thread has helped a ton for negotiating so far. I will be trading in the CRV (low miles and in great shape) but can't seem to get any dealer under $43k on the A-Spec.
Any ideas?

OTD - $45,326. This included 8.875% NYC taxes, $1,000 loyalty for Honda vehicle, $1,500 financing rebate, and $750 flex cash. Financed $5,000 to get the rebate, and will be paying it off almost immediately.
Traded in Honda CRV 2017 touring for $24,500 (low miles)
Paid $18,652 with the tax benefit of trade in
We negotiated with several dealers in NY, MD, CT and NJ to arrive at this pricing. Found that NY dealers were a bit cheaper due to fees being capped. Blue is a difficult colour to buy and only a few dealers had them. But we were able to negotiate hard and walk away from several dealers thanks to all the support and advise from members here.

I have emailed one in San Antonio who offered $40,800 😬. I also emailed another in Austin, so fingers crossed one works out. It’s good to know I can hopefully save a little bit more.

Hi everyone! A dealer offered me $39k out the door in Houston, TX for a white/espresso RDX with the tech package, FWD.
Based on my calculations, the sales price is $36,500 (12.5% or so off msrp)
Is that a good deal? This is my first “luxury” car purchase and I’m nervous.

I purchased my 2020 Acura RDX A-Spec SH-AWD (Blue) around Christmas time in Missouri.
I also went ahead and did the special 0.9% financing.
MSRP = $47,195 + $795 (Protection Package) = $47,990
Conquest Offer/Rebate = -$1,000
Acura Flex Cash = -$750
Discount = -$4,340
Doc Fee = $200
Sale Price = $42,100

Forget about the dealer in San Antonio, they are the only Acura dealer there so they never lower their prices. Just FYI I got the same spec at 39k OTD ((with about $500 add-ons, see my post earlier) but that was with the 0.9% APR. I think the APR promotion is over, but you might be able to negotiate the price down a bit or at least ask for some free accessories from McDavid in Austin or one of the Houston dealers.
