2020 RDX Apex Blue SHAWD

New 2020 RDX ASPEC Apex Blue SHAWD in Minneapolis/ St. Paul Area....

List price - $47,195
Dealer Discount - $3,049
Rebates - $4,250 ($500 free accessory offer + $1,500 Acura Finance Rebate + $1,500 Loyalty offer + $750 Flex cash offer)
Selling Price - $39,896
Tax (6.5%) - $2,821
Fees (DMV, Doc, etc.) - $745
Out the door - $43,462

I then added the following accessories: heated steering wheel and 3M film for the door cups and edges.
I declined the $3500 extended warranty. Too expensive. Can shop around for that.

During black Friday Bernardi Parts had free shipping so I saved $400 shipping on the following accessories which were already 33% off MSRP - All Weather floor mats, trunk liner, roof rails and running boards.

I'm in the Bay Area as well, where did you go to get your vehicle? I still haven't pulled the trigger yet. Seeing all these folks get these great deals have me reconsidering $45K OTD for a 2020 AWD Aspec from Steven's Creek Acura. I'm thinking I can get it for $44K OTD based on the pricing I'm seeing from other folks here.

I am in the East Bay and am attempting to get quotes via email right now. Finding it harder than expected but hopefully one of them will present a good price.

ive found keeping things simple work. give one dealer a price(look to start at about 8 or 9% off just the selling price before taxes etc then get it in writing and then put the dealers against each other.

as I mentioned before, you can buy most of Acuras 10% or more under MSRP around xmas. Some cars like TLX that are getting new design next year are like 15-16% under.

Hi everyone-

I've started negotiations with several dealerships in my area (I'm in DC) for an Advance SH-AWD (lunar metallic)

One of the first quotes I got looked good (and of course I will negotiate down from this) - tell me what you all think and how much further down I can realistically go:MSRP/Retail $48,695.00
- Total Savings + Rebates $7,409.00
Selling Price $44,286.00
+Government Fee $226.00
+Proc/Doc Fee $300.00
+Total Taxes $3,100.02

OTD $44,912.02

Purchased a 2020 SH-AWD; Majestic Black Pearl w/ Espresso interior and Advance package here in Atlanta.

MSRP/Sticker: $49,095
Pre-down payment & trade; after rebates, TVAT, destination charges, OTD: $48,182
(that was w/ 0.9% financing offer; additional $1,500 discount offer to use "Standard" financing--bad financing deal, but good to take and then pay off immediately in cash to avoid finance charge if so inclined)

serramonte Acura. $45k otd seems like a good price for the Bay Area. That’s like $40-41k before ttl

That looks to be a great deal but what’s that Government fee? I bought mine from Rosenthal Acura last summer and don’t recall that particular fee

IMHO and what I've observed for 2020 A-Spec AWD prices in the Bay Area/California have been more on the 'higher' end of the spectrum give or take. Without getting the maintenance package OTD for me was approx. $48k in the East Bay. I'm sure with time and patience you may be able to find a better deal in the area. Luckily where we live there are plenty of dealers you can get in contact with.

Looking forward to hearing the deals/offers you get!

I'm not sure - I think it may be tags or something. I'm in DC and the dealership is in Maryland.

I just got a new offer (having the dealerships bid against each other is the ONLY way to go).

Advance SH-AWD Lunar Metallic for $44,000 OTD . (I'm in DC but the dealership is deep in the Maryland suburbs)

Seems like a really good deal. My guess this will be the baseline price that I go back to the other dealers with for the second and final round of bidding.

The best quote so far for a Tech AWD is $39,600. Which seems like a decent deal for this area. Anyone else in the Bay Area do better?

Question about Leasing vs Financing

We want to pay off the car within a month. I know with Acura financing, there is no penalty to do so. Anyone know if leasing through Acura would result in a penalty of some sort if the lease was paid off within a month?
I understand that there maybe more lease incentive dollars than financing dollars available.

TIA

Considering most folks on here are paying $47K-$50K OTD I say that's an exceptional price! Pull the trigger on that bad boy!

2020 RDX Advance AWD Pittsburgh

Initial offer in Pittsburgh,PA.

2020 RDX Advance SH-AWD
MSRP: $48,695
Dealer Discount and incentives: $4,565
Etch: $219
total before TTL: $44,349
BMW owner rebate unclear on the value on incentive included above as Acura is showing conquest at 1500 and 1000 for X3 owner. Expect to finance at 0.9 since the lease offer was awful. I feel like this deal is high, especially at year end. Any guidance on targets I should aim for would be appreciated.

Lowest offer so far is $39.2 for the car, which is 10% off MSRP. I’m hoping to get it down to the mid $38k. 2020 AWD Tech.

You can get lower with incentives. I effectively paid $38,050 for 2020 AWD Tech.

If you look on LeaseHackr forums, the lowest sale price for a 2020 AWD Tech is $37,688.

Of course that's not what you end up pay because there are fees involved in a lease + residuals, but that's the SALE PRICE dealers are using to calculate lowest advertised lease deals.

Here is my original post;

Subtotal: $38,450 (13% off MSRP)
NY Tax (8.4%): $3,375
NY DMV/Reg: $250
Out The Door: $42,075 (financed @ 0.9%)

Free Bonus: All Season Weather Mats

If you’re reading this post, just know $38k before tax and options ($400 Red) is a good price for the 2020 AWD Tech with 0.9% financing.
I read this entire thread and found many of the figures posted are half-baked. Incentives, finance savings, and dealer fees can make or break any deal.
Not to mention negotiating dealers to sell you a extremely popular car for 1-3k less than the next guy who walks in.
So just get something close or better and enjoy your new car!

Wow, impressive discounts lately for Advanced models. The OTD prices seems way more reasonable than Southern California quotes. I'm still getting $49K-$50K OTD quotes on SH-AWD Advanced models. I don't qualify for any incentives though...graduated awhile back, no military, I don't own any other luxury brand cars, and well...the list goes on. I'm told by dealerships that they can't really help me. Was hoping for a $47K OTD price but ..not sure that will happen with no incentives.

With that being said, I was hoping to take advantage of 0.9% APR...but what other incentives does Acura do, especially for the next 6 months?I'm guessing 2021 announcements begin around summer of 2020. Anything to attract new customers to the Acura brand? Seems like current incentives cater mostly to people who already own a luxury brand or are already an Acura customer.

Thanks for the info, that provides a good baseline. We are under some time pressure as our previous car was totaled in an accident a few weeks back and we need a new car soon.

I can tell you that not demanding a lower price than a faraway dealer but just asking the local dealer to come close goes over a lot better... And telling them how important it is for you to buy local in order to support the local economy. The last few hundred is not a big deal in the scheme of things, but the initial few thousand is. Just ask them to work with you, and show that you are serious about buying.

I'm currently working on 2 dealers right now. One is supposed to be the "Costco car buying service dealer" I'm still waiting on his quote but we talked about me being able to use the conquest rebate. I thought Costco was a fixed price? Anyone try their service?
I did the Costco deal - submitted for it on 12/23 and picked up the vehicle today (12/26). The dealer provided a quote via email without further contact/sales pitch for a Base FWD w/ Tech (2020) in Gunmetal Metallic with Espresso Interior:

$41,795 (MSRP)
less: $3725 savings (this is the negotiated part with Costco)
less $1000 discount, valid through 12/31 (I believe this is an unadvertised discount, see below)
less $750 manufacturer's rebate, valid through 1/2)
+$890 in dealer-installed options (window tint, door edge protection, cargo mats, free washes for life, and dealer supported lifetime powertrain warranty (probably not worth the paper it's on). The $890 is the Costco price @ 74% off - the same package was stickered at $3,300 on other vehicles on the lot, and they pretty much all had them as standard at this dealer). The Costco prices seemed fair, and really paid off in this aspect.

Total offer before taxes and fees was $37,210 (NOT including the $1000 advertised conquest cash offer, not listed part of the Costco deal, but you can stack these. If he's not offering you a price sheet over email with a link back to Costco he could be fiddling with this). Dealer fees were +$789 for delivery fee and about another $500 in taxes, registration, docs tamps, prep. These and the sales tax are variable by state/dealer and are separately disclosed in the Costco pricing sheet, but not part of the negotiated price they list.

The one caveat I had was what others had mentioned - the dealer would not honor the .9% financing through Honda/ Acura as he said it was not available in conjunction with the other manufacturer promotions. It don't believe there is a hard rule and would agree there seems to be some internal incentives, as I was able to negotiate this by splitting the $1000 rebate 50/50 (so I paid $500 to finance an additional $850 in total cost over 5 years). My argument was "so you're saying I would qualify for the rebate if I paid cash outright, but not if I financed it through my credit union instead of Honda/Acura?" It's still the same cash for them on the deal, so there must be a manufacturer incentive in play to give the dealer more margin. My price after splitting the rebate was $36,710.

I had a $100K mileage trade that they gave me the low end of KBB on after some negotiating, so overall felt it was very fair. I know they wanted to move this vehicle - overall I am happy with the Costco program as it saved me a lot of hassle and gave me a bit of leverage. Many have said they can be beat, but I really hate spending a day doing this and it was a good start.

I'm in West Central Fl - Tampa Bay area.

Hi Everyone,
I live in the Nashville area which has only one Acura dealer. Their closest competition is about 150 miles away so they are not offering any deals close to what everyone else is sharing on this forum.
Has anyone purchased a 2020 RDX in the Tennessee, Alabama, or Georgia area for more than 4-5% off the MSRP (rebates not included)?

Rebates - $1,750 ($1,000 Conquest offer + $750 Flex cash) + $1,500 Acura Finance Rebate if you don't go with 0.9% APR offer), there is also a $1,500 Acura Loyalty offer I didn't qualify but that will only add $500 to discount as it is not stackable with the conquest offer.
Included free accessory: Window Tint, body side molding and whee lock (don't really need the last two but they are already installed and free so...)

Final Price - $36,180 as I chose to go with 0.9% APR offer (13.4% off MSRP), or $34,680 without 0.9% APR offer (17% off MSRP)
Tax (6.25%) - $2,370 (Based on selling price $37,930, it seems all Texas dealers have to do rebate after tax).
Fees (DMV, Doc, etc.) - $449
Out the door - $39,000

Several dealers in Houston and one in Austin all seem to be willing to match this price (at least on email) so there may be a little bit of room to negotiate a few more hundred dollars down but this process is really time consuming so I decided to stop here as I am pretty happy with the price already.

Pretty good -- I would visit in person and push for $38k, or get equal value options thrown in for free, and go for it!

If it's a true AcuraCare warranty that is a good price even for the $100 deductible warranty. Better than the online quote I got back in October.

Hey Guys - I just literally picked up a Blue AWD Aspec from Stevens Creek Acura. Got it for $42.2K OTD! Hopkins Acura in Redwood city was offering the same car (they have three of them) for $42K OTD, but I don't mind paying $200 extra since the dealership is much closer to my house and they had really good service. I essentially got every single incentive/rebate they had available.
