Hi beam indicator WAY too bright at night!
Today was my first long dark drive, about two hours on unlit highways. Boy that blue light is blinding! I had the info screen completely dark, and the dash and Head Up displays as dim as they would go. I put my Tilley hat over the center console lights to mask that stupid round D/S light. I kept getting blinded whenever I flipped the high beams on. I ended up holding my right hand in front of the indicator much of the time.
I have a pack of LightDims that I used inside my travel trailer to cover several excessively bright indicator lights, I am going to try one on top of that light to see how it works. Has anyone done anything similar?
BTW, other than this issue., I love the RDX headlights! I think they are the best stock (OEM) lights I have ever experienced. Thanks for any comments.

I added a single 1/2” round sticker over the right side of the indicator light.

The little lines are not covered. This should be plenty bright during the day and acceptable in really dark times. I will try it out and update this thread. If it is still too bright I will remove the small one and cover the entire area with a larger dot. I am a little surprised that nobody has commented, do you guys not drive on deserted roads at night?

Well, this is a rather unique complaint.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean you never heard anyone complain about it? Do you ever drive on pitch dark roads (no other cars, no street lights)?
Maybe I am spoiled…, I used to have a Saab that had a Night Panel mode.
