Acura link update removed features?

Hi i just downloaded the update and I can no longer locate my car or remote start or see my tire pressure, etc. I just recently renewed my subscription as well. Anyone else seeing this? Are these features now hidden somewhere else in the app?

On the main page, select "Manage Features" (the gear icon).

On the next screen you should always see "Basic" is active. Click on "Acuralink Packages" and confirm the "Remote" package is currently active, which is the package that provides the items you seem to be missing. I also believe this may be called the "Connect" package on some versions.

Your screen is different than mine. If you select "Manage Subscription" does it actually confirm it is active and does it provide an expiry date.

What version of the app did you update to?

My Android version is 5.0.30 and is dated May 2025.

Your screen captures look entirely different, so I suspect you have an iPhone. In that case there isn't much you can do, except wait for the next version. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, in the hope it will refresh your credentials.

If you do have an Android phone, you can also install an APK of the previous working version.

I've been seeing a lot of problems with AL for various models and then saw this, what an odd move:

Termination of AcuraLink subscription services for certain Acura models

What changes are coming to AcuraLink Subscription Services in 2025?
  • Subscription Services for certain Acura vehicles are being deactivated. Certain enrollment and renewal options for Subscription Services will also change. This change applies to both US and Canada customers.
What vehicle models are impacted?
  • 2014 – 2020 Acura RLX
  • 2014 – 2020 Acura MDX
  • 2015 – 2020 Acura TLX
  • 2016 – 2018 Acura RDX
  • 2016 – 2022 Acura ILX
  • 2017 – 2022 Acura NSX

I once had a similar issue when I made changes to my subscription. The issue went away after I canceled everything then re-subscribed to the services I needed.

Wow that sounds awful what a buggy app which has no excuse given we're in 2025 tbh. I have a 2020 RDX but definitely feel bad for the folks loosing access 😕 as laggy and buggy as the app is i still liked the features

After my latest Android Acuralink update, I no longer had my remote commands (slider tray) available. Placed a call to Acura support. Took three days, but did receive a call back telling me to remove/re-install the app on my phone.

Did not do that, but did logout/login which did the trick. This time.
