Acura Android app -- lost ability to see status of doors and tire pressure

Did Acura recently updated their app? I cant see the car status now. I used to be able to see whether the doors are locked and the psi of each tire. I can still see the odometer and the percent of oil life tho. Any else notice the same things?

There was an update about 3 weeks ago. Strange you can't get basic status. On my old phone, that was all I got. No remote functions and no location. Since I got my Galaxy S10, the app has been flawless.

Maybe you need to install the latest update.

Yep. Gotta pay to play with the new app version on iPhone as well. Pretty bare bones without an active "Remote" subscription.

You might need to remove and add your car, or re-login. I had something similar happen.

I just noticed that my "security" subscription just expired ( 1 year free trial). Does any one know whether you need that to see the door lock status?

I think the status is part of Basic, which is complimentary (for now).

I have the remote package. I stopped being able to see tire pressure the day my security package expired, so I’m pretty sure it’s part of the remote package. It’s a bit strange to add it to have that feature with the security package; it would make more sense to be part of the remote package instead.

Send a message to the developers through the Play Store. That's probably the best way to notify the Acura dev team about the issues you're experiencing.

Thanks. Did you mean it's part of the "security" package? It's very odd indeed that the remote package allows you to lock /unlock doors by doesn't let you see their status.

I would call customer service. The dashboard is part of the Basic package. See the link I posted above.

I saw your link. It said :

DASHBOARD
Check the mileage, fuel range, and oil life right from your app.

I can see all those (mileage, oil, fuel). I cant see the door / tire status those.

All those things appear in the same area of the app, so I just assume they should all go together as part of the "dashboard" in the Basic (complimentary) package. When none of the remote features worked on my old phone, all those status indications still worked. That was ALL that worked. Since I got a new Galaxy S10, everything works like a charm. I still have the full trial so I don't know what you lose as each trial period ends. Can't hurt to call and ask.

There are a couple things advertised in the app I can't find. I don't see the personal data wipe, which sounds like it's the same as resetting the infotainment system to the factory defaults. If I ever do that, I can just do it from the car. Also, I can't find a way to delete destinations from history I've sent from the app to the car. I can delete favorites but not history.

You might want to check some of the settings in the car too. I recall something about enabling remote data capture, or som'p'n' like that.
