ac problem

Hi guys anyone can help me to diagnose a problem with the ac.
My mdx15 started to having problems with the air conditioner when I'm parked start blow mild air not cold but when the car start moving blow cold during the day. In the night sometimes do the same.
That's mean the ac compressor it's about the get out of work?
Cuz I can hear how he start and shutdown a lot when I'm parked with ac on.

no, not likely the compressor is going out. Likely you are low on freon. with the engine idling, and stationary (a) the compressor is turning pretty slowly and (b) high underhood temps harder to suck enough freon fast enough as a gas and compress and liquify the freon. so it cycles. once up to speed higher rpm on the compressor problem goes away. This is a pretty common symptom of low freon level

Thank you for the info.
Well I checked the freon and is good almost passing the full line.

if the ac has a "sight glass" (something that was common in the 70's, though they had quite using them) you should see NO bubble in the glass when the AC is running, Bubbles=low freon. If it doesn't have a sight glass, where are you checking the freon level?

And when the compressor goes out the gauge goes up
Which fan is the one for cool the condenser? Cuz I only seen the driver side fan working.

have you had the AC recharged lately? with that pressure I wouldn't expect the AC to cycle when idling if everything is functional. Now some AC units will shut off if the pressure gets to high. the low side presure you are seeing is in the ballpark for ambient in the 85F + range. If operating correctly, the pressure will drop with lower ambient temps.

However to fully see if the system pressures are as expected you also need to check the high side pressure, but that's not a task for someone without proper tools and understanding, since the high side pressures should be in the range of 150-350psi, highly dependent on temperature. something best left to a shop to analyze.

Sounds like the system needs a refrigerant top up.
