I have an 03 RSX with 85,000 miles on it. The ac has been ice cold until about 6 months ago. When it started to blow hot air I had an ac mechanic check the freon - it's fine. We replaced the secondary cooling fan which was not running. Now the fan runs but the air is cold only when I first start the car, then gets hot about 5 minutes in. The compressor shuts down.

The weird thing is - it will run cold if I open both windows, and blow hot when they are closed.

Suggestions?
