Thanks for posting the price you paid. Did that price include the MDX loyalty rebate of $2K?

Thanks! I'm actually cross-shopping the MDX hybrid with the Highlander hybrid. The Highlander hybrid is priced within the same ballpark and has much more updated features but not as nice materials. Of course, the trade off is the Highlander hybrid went to a 4-cylinder this year but it does get 35mpg.
It actually has a heated steering wheel and vented front seats. Can't get those in a MDX until I get the Advance trim. But once I move up to Advance I lose the middle seat in the 2nd row. Decisions, decisions.

But, yes the MDX advance package looses the 2nd 3rd row seat. For us, that was a plus, w/o kids at home anymore 4 adults in comfort was a plus, but not necessarily for those looking for a family hauler. You can get a heated steering wheel with the tech package, it is a dealer installed option, but not the vented seats.
And then there is the toyota/lexus snout. Sorry, but that alone took those off the list for us.

Was going to wait for 2021 model but decided to snatch one of the current deals. Haven't fully locked in yet, 2020 MDX Hybrid with Tech with 11.5K off MSRP and additional 2K in Rebates for 40.5k before TTL and dealer fees. Will most likely ask for spare tire accessory as well to be added.
Still haven't got final confirmation the vehicle is mine. If it slips through my fingers then I'll wait for year 2-3 of the new MDX before purchase. Maybe for a Type S version that will have the new powertrain kinks worked out. Heard about oil dilution and limp mode with the new RDX.

Did you close the deal? I'm in the market for a Hybrid adv so curious to get what you finally paid for car.

Got the car home. Drove 6 hours to get it. MSRP ~54k Sport Hybrid with Tech 2020
40.5k after 12.5k discount + 1k rebate (college grad + conquest), came with window tint, floor liners and wheel locks "free"
Financed 48 months @ 3.29% but plan to pay it off in 3 months anyways so rate didn't matter in my situation.
In and out of dealership in less than 1 hour. No hard sells or pushiness for unnecessary products with saying "no" once.
Just need to add a spare-tire which I will look for elsewhere or parts lot.

around here a 2019 CPO hybrid advance are going for about 15K or less off new price. Not many new hybrid advances to be found in our area so I doubt you could get 15K off a new one.
#56
49k, which is around 11k off from the MSRP is the best I received so far from Weir canyon Acura in Anaheim hills. There are not that many hybrid sitting on the lot so I think it will be difficult to get more, especially in socal area. I'm not in a rush so I'll be monitoring or wait for a decent CPO deal.

A dealer is willing to give me a 12K off MSRP but asked me do a lease and buy out/refinance route instead of a straight purchase and finance. Salesman told me this is common and people usually go this route to get bigger discount and rebates. I have never leased a car and wondering anyone in here used this method. Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mind if I ask what the lease terms are? So assuming it’s a tech car, the MSRP is about $52,500 and $12,000 off would be $40,500. What did they tell you in terms of a 36 month lease and how many miles per year (with no money down)?

Is the dealer saying you should buy the car at the end of the lease? I don’t think you’ll come out ahead on that one, but maybe someone else will have a different perspective.

It is to my understanding that the money factor is added upfront to your total cap cost, so even if you pay it off early, you still paid 3 yrs worth of interest...
#65
Can you elaborate on this? What incentives, discounts and rebates are there right now if you are not a current Acura owner?

I closed the deal with 2020 MDX Hybrid Tech @ $42,781.50 before TTL, roughly 21% off MRSP. DFW TX area.
Traded in my 2018 MDX SH-AWD with 26,5xx miles on it (got this one for exactly 24 months) for $32,000. Carmax appraised it $34,000 but I go with the dealer as the sales tax savings is fair enough.
Hope this helps new MDX owners. Hybrid powertrain is the way to go with 3rd Gen MDX.

3% for 36 months on the remaining OTD.
I wanted 0.9% finance rate during negotiation, the salesman assured me I'd have to take Acura standard rate which is 4.50% since they gave a big discount already. I'm OK and will refinance anyway after 3 billing cycles. The finance guy eventually told me I will get 3% based on my CS. Saw 1.76% auto refinance rate with $200 incentive recently lol.
Dealer only 15 mins away from my house btw )

2020 Mdx tech purchase
Hi guys- newbie here.
Im in a 2018 mdx sh awd tech lease that expires 12/31/20. Im eligible for acuras pull ahead program. Husband hates leases, I love them. Was working on a lease deal with 2 different dealers. I know the lease incentives are better than the purchase incentives, and I worked a pretty good lease deal out, but my husband vetoed it at the last minute and wants to purchase instead.
Ive got one dealer down to 39800 and another down to 39200 before taxes/tags. The lease purchase price is 36950. As I said I know incentives for lease are bigger but just wondering if you think I can get the finance purchase price any lower or what you think about leasing to immediate buyout? I asked one of the dealers if they could would go to 37k and she basically laughed at me...I didn't think it was that unreasonable.
Any advice is appreciated!

The other dealership lease was 3k down, $399/month, same 10k miles/yr and 10k rollover. For finance, they are asking $39200.
The third dealership I didnt get a lease quote, just a finance quote and they gave me a purchase price of $39,800. This is the dealership I asked for 37k purchase price and she laughed me off.

This dealer is the 36950 lease purchase price, 2k down, 10k miles yr for 36 months plus 10k miles rollover from my current lease, $459/month. They used the lower MF. For finance, they are asking 40,920 before taxes/tags.

Back in March, I was quoted $39,500 for a lease on an MDX tech. No money down,15k a year for 36 months, $541/month (although they offered to get us below $530 if we signed right then and there). We didn’t bite because of Covid. Here we are almost 6 months later and the same dealer is up to $570/month. They claim that the lease deals are not as aggressive as they were back in the spring. Part of the problem is that we don’t qualify for Acura loyalty.

I’m trying to get 13k off a 53k MSRP AWD with tech. Visited a dealer in NYC earlier this week and got a quote for 49.5k. The selling price will go down to 44k if I finance with them at the regular rate (6%+). I told the sales adviser I should be able to get 12k-13k off MSRP based on my research, but he told me that the offers I saw on Acurazine are fake . A total waste of time...

Paid $40,300 for 2020 AWD tech before taxes and fees in SoCal. 23% off MSRP. Price included $2k loyalty incentive.
Tbh, I feel it’s just an ok deal and could’ve been better) my fault, shld’ve done better research before the deal).
Any thoughts?

I negotiated til I was blue in the face to get a 2020 MDX A-SPEC (msrp: 56,025) to a sell price of $46,544, just shy of 17% off MSRP. If I continued I probably could have done better, but this dealer is only 4 minutes from my house.
I'll be leasing for 3 years, 12k per. I only qualified for $500 conquest incentive.
Location: Philadelphia suburbs
