scratches on my window!

So i recently got my car tinted but only now did i notice there are a few scratches on the window. At first i thought it was on the inside so i tried to wipe it off thinking it was just smudges but it wasnt, then i thought it was on the outside but no it wasnt. and i never seen scratches on my window before i got the tint. so maybe its the guys from the tint place that scratched it? what should i do?! its not really noticable when your in the dark but in the sunlight its super noticable and its like in the middle of the window. !

is it vertical scratches?
if so, you should have installed mole skin, to prevent dirt from getting on the weather seal/blade.

When dirt gets trapped on the blade, it can cause scratches.

I installed my own mole skin as my tinter didnt want to be liable for tearing up my door panel. I took some felt and cut a strip long and wide enough to fit over the window seal/blade.

^^no its not. its more like diagonal scratches.
and thanks for the info. i'll search up more about mole skin. iv never heard about this product before.
so going back to the tinter to ask about the scratches would just be a waste of time or not?

This is the weather seal.

I applied a strip of felt over the seal and tucked the rest into the door panel.

it could be them, it could be your passengers, or it could be there all along but you cant see it prior to the tint, and when the tint is applied, scratches are much easier to see

Usually warranties do not cover scratches.
But it wouldnt hurt to ask your tinter if he could re-do it under warranty

Scratches would be vertical if they were due to not having moleskin (even before tint is applied). Since they are diagonal, I'd assume there is something wrong with the tint (maybe it was scratched on the inside). Maybe there were particles trapped inside, and the installer slides his tool diagonally when applying tint?

I would take it back and have them re-do it.
