Leak from A-pillar/headliner connection

I've had a leak coming in from the area around where the A-pillar and headliner meet. I had both updates done by my dealer for the sunroom trim and windshield trim. I had the dealer bring in their water specialist and he said that a body seam had separated around that same location and was causing the leak. I had it repaired but was just wondering if anybody else had this issue before.

It's kind of early, but it sounds like a sunroof drain to me. I had water showing there (among other places) in my 05, and it turned out to be clogged sunroof drains.

i took my head liner out. im working on my car right now after a wreck.

But those lines are not in the best of condition and location to drain. if water does get in or dirt it can sit in the middle of the liner and clog it self.

its not angled down enough to drain properly

now if the re sealed it and the seal came off. they glued it wrong or expired glue(yes that can happen) or they didnt rough up the surface before doing the job

i heard one way dealers fix this issue is to use their air compressor to shoot air into the lines, blowing the dirt out.

i just had a windshield replaced and i'm getting water stains on the headliner

I'm not sure if its from the windshield replacement, or because I removed the roof rails(wagon) or if the sunroof is clogged

where do stains show up on either scenario?

Did you end up cleaning the dry water stains, if so what did you use?
