i was pointing out your fail. cars use pads to brake. people use sledgehammers to break. try searching brake pads on this forum. you'll read about the different kinds of pads people use. also upgrading rotors, also the lawsuit for the rear pads

He's talking about your misuse of break and brake. Take it to your shop get a brake (break) inspection brakes shouldn't be no more than 300 dollars maybe 400 if u need new rotors

apin, how old are your brakes? Not sure you need a full inspection with rotor fix if they are fairly new. If they just started squeeling, can you tell if it is coming from the rear or the front. My rear brakes went out prior to my fronts on this car. I know you said you are DIY retarded, but this is a fix you could EASILY do yourself or with most of any of your guy friends if you have never done it. I bought cheap ceramic pads, and rented the brake piston compressor all for about $120 bucks spent 1 hour outside with my car and it was done.

There might be a DIY on a brake change already out there. I wish I needed my brakes changed now, I would put it together for you.

Again, this is my opinion, some people fully believe in taking their vehicle to a shop for everything, I on the other hand believe in doing most of all the work to my cars, myself.
