I would never buy a car from manufacturer whos engineer glued his ugly looking grill using silicone and 3m tape to his car... Im sorry mate I dont like your mod... also left side is lower then right side... Sometimes its better to stay with standard parts and have a good quality then trying to be diferent with wood, glue and tape. And dont listen to others who said "good job" because they simply dont want to break your hearth I suppose. Take a step back. Why mod a very nice looking part? Standard tsx grill is perfect.

It's all good!

Projects help me think about my goals and ambitions in life, gives me time to myself. I enjoy it. Some people don't like the work I do and others do. As long as I feel accomplished at the end of the day that's all that really matters to me.

LET'S SWAP GRILLES

I haven't been on the euro forums much (like ozhonda), so I'm not sure if people there complain about the euro grille. But I'm sure you've seen countless people complain about the Acura grilles (especially the pre-facelifted one). Many of the posts in the original thread where Marcus from HeelToe was making a custom Acura grille for 2G owners, were basically motivated to buy it because they absolutely hated the stock Acura one.

But I do agree, most of us want something different from stock. If only the euro grille fit in my 2013 TSX without getting a new bumper entirely

Yes I remember when Marcus started his project with euro grille and he was tring to stick acura emblem on it. I think that with little help all 3 grilles are nice. I have seen many stock Acura grills here painted and moded with great success, same story with standard euro grille that one with a lot of chrome parts... I have modulo in balck and I like it but to be honest I dont like modulo grille in other colours, that middle part is too visible for me... But thats only my opinion.

I made that diffuser a while back. I still have that mounted!

The roof spoiler didnt work out.

My hopes for making my own Lip for the front bumper kinda diminished. It was always going to be "until I can afford better" kind of project. And now that I'll be working for Honda, I can't pass up buying new sport bumpers for factory price. soooooo that lip is pretty much an ended project too hahaha

Hopefully I can be a valuable asset to this community in the near future! I'm glad that I will be representing the "enthusiast" portion of the Honda crowd! I can only dream that one day I'll play a helping hand in something extraordinary that Honda builds!

I'm saying man. I wanted to wash my car, but then I was like what's the point with those sons of bitches outside. I don't have a car bra, but I was thinking about masking it with painters tape till they leave lol.

The bad thing is that if you leave them on for more than a week or so their guts etch the paint permanently. It really sucks!

Yeah that's true. Usually I have to scape them off with my finger nail and some soap after they've been baked on.

Yours is/was really bad though! Looks like you fed them into a wood-chipper and pointed it at your car. Lol. I have like 5-10 marks of hitting them with my front bumper, not 100...

This was only 2 days of driving from Orlando to Lakeland.. and a few back roads where the mine roads are; near Bartow and Lake Wales. It's unbelievable that amount of bugs.

I'm def leaving the bra on my car when I make the move. I'm pretty sure the truck taking the car will be open to the elements. A lot easier than taping the whole bumper.

Congrats on getting into Honda R&D. I did a 12 month coop in the Honda Canada Facility in Assembly and envied all the PE guys that went down to Marysville and R&D.

Now I'm in Toyota Canada Mfg in Stamping and from what I can tell it is totally different. I miss Honda, congrats and enjoy.

Thanks Vinny! I think it'll be an awesome opportunity for me. I'm excited that I'll be working in the R&D section, but it's also really cool that the mfg facility is right there too. Hopefully, I'll get some more experience with that side too. Those guys are like artists when it comes to designing large scale production pieces!

I'm gunna have to brace myself for the cold, that's for sure! I didnt even know pedestrian snow blowers even existed .... It's like mowing the grass but, for snow!!!

We could be real friends Ryan, not just internet friends...

There's skiing here.. Really cheap skiing, but I would house a friend for free. You would just be required to drink with me at night

How bright are they at night? Distracting? I kind of want to go with red LEDs for my footwall/doors now.

I've got a decent amount of sick/vacation time saved up. Maybe some day I can do a long weekend. We can go race on the Honda track!

The footwells are not bothersome at all to me. It's the lowest frequency on the visible light spectrum so it doesnt distract you at all when night time driving.

The Cup Holder lights really don't illuminate past the cup holder. From the drivers seat you can't even see them cause the lid sticks up about 1/2". From the outside you can't see the cupholder lights either. Might be slightly visible on a very dark night.

I believe for each disc there are only 2 LED's that are submersed in an epoxy resin right in the middle. So all of the light output goes directly out the sides to give it the "Ring" look. But since you have worked with LED's you should be able to gauge how bright two red LED's are. Hope that helps.

Do it!! I'm told we have a "flex schedule" so if I work all my hours within the period I could technically take off every other Friday with pay. We could def work a long weekend out.

Haha yeah they look pretty sweet! I really like the way it looks, and with the footwell LED it looks like the car came like that. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but never knew there was a kit available. Thanks iCrap for the find!
