Eh well if you didn't immediately notice a difference i'd say its probably very little or close to no gain lol.
I remember i didn't really feel a difference on optimus's cal either.... but dime fengs made a big difference.

Yeah.. well I kind of figured. You have a tolerance built in for your 1st sensor and then basically your 2nd sensor has a tighter tolerance after the cat. So you mount both sensors on the same pipe.. can't really control it. Perhaps on a the stock map the fuel tables aren't quite as rich and don't throw a code?
Only $600 to fix the emissions code? Good deal right haha
** It's funny.. I think xtcnrice and iCrap are the only ones subd to my thread because yall comment immediately after I post haha. I thank you, my build is pretty awesome. I would follow me as well. Too bad we can't "like" our own thread as you can on FB with comments. I'm pretty sure that I like every comment I post. Of course I like that shit, I wrote it!

Car feels really good on the highway! It used to hum nicely right around 80mph.. kinda like the sweet spot, right RPM for the right gear... now it feels like the sweet spot is around 87MPH. That's the speed she wants to cruise at now lol

1.Yeah me and my buddy installed it in my garage. I have a funny pic we took after the install lol. I'll upload it later.
2. The same buddy works a lot with plastics so he is going to try and make some molds of the grille for me
As far as the install goes.. took about 8 hrs, same as they listed on the instructions. Sooo much time wasted trying to figure out the less than adequate diagrams (of which were civic Si, and not TSX) but overall it was mostly unbolt and bolt new part on.
Only problem we ran into was CTE didn't provide the right Bolt for the Intake manifold support bracket.. Had to buy a new one for $5.50, pretty expensive for a single bolt, but what are you gunna do?
I haven't pushed the car too hard for two reasons:
1. I wanna "break it in"
2. Im getting really high knock count (especially cylinder 1) under anything more than 50% throttle.
It feels sooooooo smooth and linear though. I heard that whine for the first time and it made that 5 year wait worth it!!
Im gunna try and adjust cylinder trim to to get the knock count lower to an acceptable level so that I can get VIT to tune it. Lots of updates coming in the next few weeks!!

Everyday I'm rofling
Joe!!!!!! That is awesome. It's so nice when things come together after so long of patiently waiting. Hope the tuning goes smoothly.

I've heard some pretty good things about these gauges, so lets see how it turns out. I'm interested to see what kind of boost this kit is actually running on our cars vs. what they advertise. Hoping to get some concrete numbers for everyone.
Boost + Wideband and Bosch Sensor
C507D0D2-C195-4244-8383-35E5F05A23BF_zpsshjbyulb.jpg?t=1408660726
I'd really like to do the hidden din setup.. Im concerned with visibility cut off being so deep inside the pocket though.
Other placement options...
I think Optimus did this.. but no pictures to show how it looks.
Oh yeah.. and these lol

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
The gauge looks pretty nice based on the video. Fitment was awesome in that BRZ. Hopefully it'll look good in your car too.
What's that black thing in that last pic? Acura sunglasses??

The best placement would probably be pillar gauges. not so stealth though. Maybe how you showed in the 2nd pic then.

Yeah they are Oakleys haha
Yeah I like stealth... I think Im gunna try that first and see how it works out.

It would be cool to put one guage in the middle of the tachometer. It'd probably be really hard... but cool.

Putting a gauge in the middle of the RPM tach would be sick as fuhhhhh but the mechanics make it impossible
I hope the hidden gauges work out though. Someone with a turbo CL9 did something similar and I think it turned out great! Im hoping to follow in their footsteps!
Itll be nice, cause during the day I can close the lid and deter theifs from taking my gauges/ anything else...

Nice gauges, the big problem with mounting them low is you will never be able to look at them under full throttle, and if your fuel pump starts to go bad and you lean out you will never see the gauge flashing and all it takes is one 3rd gear wot pull to break a piston,
does the boost gauge have recall to see the max boost ?

The gauges do have max recall ability as well. I think for the Wideband I am going to turn off the 2nd O2 sensor with flashpro (Im getting check emissions anyways) and then install the wideband sensor in the bung where the 2nd O2 sensor usually goes. You don't see any problem with this do you Utah?

What about in front of the info screen. Maybe a bit of modification would allow u to semi insert 'em kinda facing you and that is one on top of the other. Or maybe just on the bottom of that whole opening. Plenty of misused space there. Unless you've got any navy which I don't recall you do.

had a thought, you could cut holes into the white trim peice and put the guages there. There is nothing behind that area afaik
If you ever want to go back then just buy a second trim piece (i think its like 35 bucks?)

Hey.. my DIY was actually useful haha. Im stealing my own photos

Yeah i think that'd work pretty well.
Is it possible for you to also digital-ize the guages?
Since you have non-tech you could also later add a in-dash screen like i did and get the info on that.
Like this, but actually useful. There is also a Hondata app i think.

I did a quick google search and I did find HUD that show boost.
http://forums.nicoclub.com/s13-defi-...s-t396190.html
http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-x-s...e-install.html
btw can you see your HUD thing clearly during a sunny day? or only really at night?
making a HUD display isn't that hard BTW you could even DIY one.
I think the in-dash display would be the best idea though

That thing is really ugly and bulky!
For the most part I can see my HUD during day. It's about 50% visibility. If the sun is just right visibility goes down to like 25%. But that's maybe 30 min where its like that. And of course night time it looks perfect.
You can check out the youtube video I made. It shows it during the day, I think it was around 4:00pm on a sunny FL day.
One of the LED's for my overspeed warning has started to be intermittent. I may sell it for cheap. (I have to to replace my glass and I don't wanna buy another tint screen for it. I think it's only $10.. but I don't really wanna put the effort in.)

Yeah I know I could do that, but I wanted some a little less obvious and more integrated with the car.
BTW iCrap- I looked and there is only enough visibility to see 1 gauge on that side pillar like you mentioned :/
