I'm going to get a few pictures.
I travel for work often.
Any particular pictures anybody wants? Any walk around videos? I don't want to come across as a tease.
I'm just a guy with a lot of responsibilities.
Sorry.

Oil catch cans install finished
Finally finished my oil catch can and breather system, the filters have a check ball in them so the system is closed unless there is a ton of blowby at high boost high RPM that the recirculate can't handle, the catch can on the driver side is made by OBX and the one with the breather filters is made by NEUKIN The fittings are a mix of Russell and Fragola and some that I had kicking around in my tool box, I was going to do this on the cheap but it didn't really work out that way of course

So, I went to spec out a custom 3" exhaust.
To anyone who said this exhaust is great from the factory, please go take a long walk off a short pier.
The exhaust is quiet, but damn if it isn't as small as possible.
So tomorrow, I am going to go 3", with a resonator right after the cat, and a flowmaster muffler.
Why flowmaster? Well, everybody complains about the magnaflow. So, might as well try something else. And I don't want to spend borla or anything like that. I just want an exhaust that flows, and is reasonable during normal not WOT driving.

Coolant over flow reservoir custom
Well my son and I have been busy in the garage, he finished mounting his intercooler on his TL TYPE-S and I,m making a custom coolant reservoir that will mount on top of the radiator fans trying to dress the engine bay up a little bit

Did he do his own welding?

It's sooooooo sick that the outside of your car is basically stock! SLEEPER to the max! Have you had any runs against any WRX/STi or other turbo guys on the road? I am only half of the HP you are producing and it feels sooo good to boost around town!

Highway pulls I destroy STI's off the line it takes me a minute to catch up they have a huge traction advantage but when I catch them I drive by them like they are standing still even the modded STI's don't stand a chance unless they are fully built with bigger turbo
and my car is super low on voxx 18x9.8 wheels with fat 255/40 tires with full aero front and rear bumpers with side skirts and it's loud so not very sleeper it looks mean

The ones around here get really angry when they lose. Same goes for the Evo guys, they always have a bag of friends with excuses/apologies. lol

A stock STI makes 320ish HP and only around 270 at the wheels. So yea they have no chance against yours unless very heavily modded lol.

Roughly, it's really hard to get these cars with the auto trans to give me a clean graph, the torque converter does some stupid crap... Just based on the track times I've had my 9th gen Si customers put down and the #'s I've gotten from the turbo ones on my dyno here in Oregon I'd say that's a close estimate.

My knees start shaking when I look at a dyno after my ex tuner smoked my motor on 9 PSI, never again will I use anyone but Vit my car drives better than stock and I get 23 MPG if I'm not killing the boost gauge to much Thank you Vit

These new motors are definitely.... "interesting"... to tune. The margin of error on the stock ones is quite small, it's actually somewhat humorous when watching it on our Dynapack... you have a point where the power curve is shit... then boom, you hit the sweet spot and have a clean curve.... and any more than that it's knock city... a tiny bit more than that and someone's going to be crying lol

The 11 Si used to be my daily, it got redundant to have two Si's... traded it for a '14 Mustang GT and been using that as my shop daily to get to and from, 417rwhp gets the job done, lol. Focus is on getting my 08 Si into the 9's maybe this coming year, need to see about a cage, etc.
Not to detract from UTAH's thread... car has:
ERL 1.9L Sleeved B18C5 block w/ JE 10.0 Pistons & Manley Pro Rods
JDM B18C head
Skunk2 Pro1 cams
Synapse turbo manifold & downpipe (only 2.5" vband on downpipe at turbine housing outlet).
Small 450hp intercooler core, 2.5" charge pipes
Comp CT4-6262 turbo, T3 .82a/r with 2.5" vband exit
Hondata S300
Hondata CPR
Hondata Traction Control
Stock Type R gearbox with Quaife LSD
InsaneShafts 1000hp axles
Competition Clutch Twin Disc
Thermal 3" exhaust (yes the car has a full exhaust)
Deatschwerks 2200cc Injectors
Single Walbro 485 fuel pump in tank
AEM Fuel Rail & FPR (stock lines)
VitTuned PWM Booster
I had my good friend Chris driving the car (he's NHRA licensed and used to have a 9 second EG before it went for the wall)..

Itz JDM y0!
There was a Integra that was putting down ~700 whp iirc.. this year. Also a 2,000hp Gallardo. Still a ton of fun even if your not competing with anyone
I think you would do well against the many ~400whp cars that do come tho.

Turbo Type-s intercooler
The kids inter-cooler and piping is done looks awesome he is doing a great job, he has it hooked up and a filter on it so he can drive it, This is the coldest cold air intake ever LOL
#715
ROTAREDOM
Wait so he is just sucking air in through the intercooler with no turbo yet?
Isn't that like.. massive restriction for only a vacuum? Or is it not really make a difference?

No restriction flows as much as the pipe he said the only thing he notices is it's quieter than his CAI
