I dont think we have a thread for this here, but this couple be helpful for those who (like me) are wanting to mod their TSX. What mods are out there for the car so far?

 

Off the top of my head, we have various springs available from Eibach, H&R, and Tein, as well as Tein coilovers. There was another company that released coilovers (I forget the name now) that someone on the forum tested. There's the Progress rear sway bar. There's also the Honda CU2 Accord sport suspension which a couple of members on here have.

Then there are the intakes, notably the CTE Icebox, Takeda, and Injen.

There was supposed to be an exhaust and a turbo from CTE, but haven't heard any updates on that front.

Body-wise, we have the A-spec kit from Acura, Modulo grill from Honda in Europe/Japan/Australia, Mugen kit with two different front bumpers/grilles and a giant wing spoiler.

There are also some miscellaneous mods that I've seen such as colored manifold covers, I believe HeelToe sells them.

Oh, and any big brake kit that fits the 1G will fit the 2G, as proven by DerwoodEE and HeelToe.

 

That's a very good list MrOto, CU2Mike has a coilover from Megan Racing.

CTE does have an exhaust, I think Rob at Acura of Lynnwood is selling it for $1060, but bear in mind, there is no hp gain just sound. Or you can go to Japan and they have one for the CU2- Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust, again for sound only, no performance gain.

As mentioned, you can have the A-spec/ Modulo kit from Acura (which consist of front and rear aero bumper plus side skirts) , or you can get the GT/Type S body kit from Japan or Europe (front skirt, side skirt and rear bumper). There is a wing or lip spoiler available from Acura also. The best part about the aforementioned parts is that they can be ordered already paint-matched.

Apparently.

There's just not enough power generated that opening up the exhaust any more is going to benefit the system. Until you add some substantial power mods, an upgraded exhaust is pointless.

keep in mind tho, there are a few members with some outstanding mods taht are custom made, which includes electronic mods to exterior mods

WeatherTech sells DigitalFit Floor liners Front and rear, as well as window visors.

And yes, the speaker rings are nice. Very easy to install, but a bit pricey, $176 from HeelToe.

 

Can the euro/jdm parts be ordered from someone stateside?

 

Marcus from HeelToe would be your best bet.

 

is hondata working on a reflash kpro?

 

I emailed them about this a couple weeks ago, and they said they do not have one yet, but plan on one in the future. I think that means they haven't started one yet. Maybe if enough of us email them, they'll start working on it.

 

no HP gain in exhausts? do you tink it's because of the lack of a tunable header?

I would get these, but they need to make a specific kit for our car. I'm not going to hack up the lower part of the plastic to install the bar closest to the front bumper.

 

true, they said these were from the new accord which transfers pretty mcuh to our tsx with a slight modification.

I ordered the parts from throwdownperformance and they already shipped. You don't have to wait the 2-3 weeks if you order from them.

For the list, I think the Mugen Sport Suspension is damper/spring kit instead of a coilover kit. Ed, you should ask that one guy (Maximus) from china that has it.
