Great tips, I just started doing some mods my 09 TSX about 2 months ago. Threw on a Takeda Intake, picked up some Xenon white DRL's from ijdmtoy.com, ordered some 6000K lows that shipped today. Defcon inspired me to get the LS460 tips installed, that's happening on Friday. Replaced all the interior lights with LED's, including the license plate light. As soon as I meet my 15 day, 5 post requirement I will post pics.

EDIT: Also, for suspension, does Buddy Club have a kit for CU2's now or am I mistaken?

$30 for +1HP.
I could get so much more horsepower from a Mugen emblem for so much less.

these are suppose to keep the engine cooler or something

from the guy selling these, though i think theres a bit of exaggeration

In terms of what this does, it will increase throttle response. It's been dynoed at about a 5 hp on the 8th gen Si. Paired with runners (again not sure how this reacts with the i4, although i've only heard positives from those who installed), we had a customer with a V6 put down about an additional +15 hp/+21 ft lbs of tq from just the spacer, tb gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, and ported intake runner. We also sponsored one of our customers for the initial test for Unorthodox Racing after tons of discrepancy on the fitment of them. I'd say this, plus the 2pc pulley set are your best mods right now on the market.

How would you compare the sound of the Takeda intake to the Injen one (as you can't really compare the HP gain unless you've driven one with Injen have you?)?

hps offers a cold air, a short ram intake, and a silicon hose for the tsx.

That is a lie. Flashpro is readily available, OEM large throttles are available from the ZDX and the TL AWD. Supercharger units are available, and possibility of turbocharging is right around the corner. Also kraftwerks is about to release their 06-11 SI supercharger kit, which I feel would bolt up on our application with minimal issues.

Does anyone know where to get the fujitsubo exhaust? And I also heard its not made specifically for the 2nd gen, only the first. Can anyone confirm this?

Smile 2010 tsx mods

Hello everyone. I am new to the community. I have been doing some mods on my 2010 tsx and found some halo headlight assemblies online and installed them. They are high output halo with an led strip below. Turned out beautifully. If anyone is interested I will post pictures when I become a full member.

Yes it drive by wire. Gains will vary for different parts. CAI is more of a butt HP gain, unless done with other mods and a retune. Tunning is where its all at. You want real hp gains, S/C, turbo or NOS. HP comes at a price and that price is how fast do you want to go.

Depends on what you want to spend. Could be from a simple cai, which doesnt do much, if anything. Then there's the higher end, a supercharger. My personal opinion, leave the car stock. Its a 4cyl sedan, its not going to be fast. Put the money into other things if you want, like rims, spoilers, suspension.

This just added
One of the only catbacks available in usdm if not the only one now that I hear the ct-e is discontinued

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-performance-parts-modifications-299/things-i-do-forum-ebay-exhaust-895736/

Don't know if there are any power gains but it sure does sound and look hella good

They also have an ebay brand generic intake on the market now.. For you budget tuners out there

That ebay exhaust is literally the same thing as the stock exhaust. No gains.

It's not exactly the same. The piping on the eBay exhaust is slightly larger, Stainless steel, with less restrictive straight through mufflers (not to mention less rasp than stock if you do have dyno proven mods to combine with like an rv6 pipe). So no it isn't exactly the same. As far as performance gains I'm not stating that it could get you anything besides more stance if that's the only mod you have which is exactly why it wouldn't be the first thing on my wish list. But combined with other mods and a nice tune I couldn't see the hurt. It's very clean and sounds waaaaaaay better than stock. Just like the intakes posted on here, if that's the only mod done expect nothing more than a few butt dyno ponies (mainly due to it being louder) and having a nice sound.
