Alright, my car will be ready for me Friday morning and I have already called my nearest dealer about getting the ECU in. The dealer is obviously somewhat resistant about putting the ECU in because my warranty is still good and they are not sure if they are even allowed to do something like that.
The warranty is my choice to void if it ever comes down to it but if dealers aren't willing to help then what are my options?

I won't be doing dynos. I've already spent enough money on this so I don't need to spend $200 more. As long as I can feel the car is faster and it actually drives better to my satisfaction I'm all good.

Its not really up to the dealer if they want to do this or not, because they are paid to do so and IT IS YOUR CAR.... If one dealer refuse to do it, go to another one.

Installing it doesn't void my warranty but if the part is determined to be the cause of a problem then it does void my warranty.
This particular dealer I called said that they do not want to assist me in something that would potentially void my warranty. They said it's not a place they want to be in and I can respect that. Now I just need to call several other dealers.

tell them that you will install the ECU yourself, you just need them to lookup the immobilizer code for your vin, and program it to your ECU. the key is already done. or to re program the immobilizer to your ECU, and also program your key. but that means that another set of keys will exist that can drive your car(the previous ECU's owner)

I'm going to tell the dealer that I'm sending my current ECU (stock) to get it reflashed so in the mean time I need the extra ECU (reflashed) in there so my car can run. Basically, I need to flip the story.
