In Moscow, it is impossible to buy for Acura ECU.
Accord ECU is different from Acura.
But I can buy a ECU from the Accord 2009 AT
Reflash it and send it to you.
ECU sales 430-470 $.
Price is not cheap.

I ordered from Bruce Auto parts for $150 shipped. I should get it sometimes after Thanksgiving. Hopefully on the weekend of 12/3 I will be able to swap the ECU and send it to Chivik/Gosha.
If all works well I should have the reflashed CPU back in the car before the end of the year.

Chivik, forgive my ignorance on this whole topic. But is this doable for the v6 ecu? Also, If it is what all else needs to be done other than a reflash. Anything else i would need to expect if I went through with this?
Another question i have, again forgive me for my lack of knowledge but for those of us who have to pass emmisions, will this effect that?

Can you not just have the purchased ECU sent to him and have him reflash this one. So that you have the stock one incase something doesn't work?

WTH happened to my garage
When I had my 100 shot N2O ECU & TCU done for my Q45 by Jim Wolf, I found replacements, verified they worked, then sent the replacements in for mods, just in case & kept my original....original.

I think I would want to verify that the recycled one I bought first regardless. Let's say the replacement works fine is there really a difference which one I send?
While we are at it how do I remove the ecu lol ??

I would think you would want to test it to. Not sure there is a difference between the two, new or existing. Just something about messing with the one that you know works absolutely fine across all angles that makes me a lil weary. Like I have said many times though through this. I am a little knowledge lacking on this topic.

It's under the hood, directly adjacent to the battery, there's a plastic cover, remove that, and it's right there.
PUHLEASE disconnect the battery first. Then, yeah, I'd test the replacement, drive around for a day or two, then pull it and put your stock one back in.
(Dunno if you have to have the anti theft key...thing reprogrammed to work or if the yard sent it with the ECU.)

If I have it by the time I dyno my car on Saturday then I am going to let the shop swap it and test it out for me.
It looks like the process is going along. It would be great if I can have the reflashed chip in my car and running by Christmas

Alright I'm supposed to get the back up ECU today by the time I get out of work. Now the problem is that I have no tools to replace the ECU to see if the back up works. You guys think I can risk it and just send the back up to Chivik right away?
#96
what tools do you need to replace the ECU? and i agree, make sure it works, otherwise if it gets back to you, and doesnt work, we wont know if it was the ECU or the flash. though the flash should be good

Alright, I sent the ECU with U.S.P.S International Express today. With the box it only cost me $40. In about a month I'll know how fast my car becomes hehehe...

I don't think it has gotten to Russian yet. When I checked earlier today on USPS' website the latest update was that it left Los Angeles sorting facility. I'll let you guys know when it actually gets somewhere.

Your item was processed through our ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS) facility on December 18, 2011 at 3:45 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.
This has been the same update since the 18th and now I'm wondering if the ECU will ever get to Russia.....
On a different subject, I tried to race a Camaro SS from a light at a on ramp and guess what happened?

Yup, I tried but the SS rocketed away before I can even call it a race LOL
In any case I just checked on my package and it still has not gotten to Russia yet. I feel like it will never be there. It's been 11 days since I sent it out via USPS Express service.

russia may not update USPS all that much hahaha, you might wanna give chivik a call to confirm. next thing you know, you'll have a flashed ECU in your mailbox in 3 days, and it still hasnt "reached" russia

I did put recycled automobile parts as the item description so that shouldn't attract too much attention.
Meh...
