09-10 Grille "H" to "A" conversion
I was browsing through the forums last month and found a thread about a JDM Style grille, and I thought I'd give it a shot.
Thread here: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-performance-parts-modifications-299/09-10-jdm-grille-902827/
I bought it and here's what it looks like:
I didn't want to rebadge the Acura as a Honda, and searching through the other threads, I ran into CU2 Dan's Thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-photograph-gallery-144/daily-driver-project-cu2-885343/) and thought I'd give it a shot to integrate the "A" onto the grille.
First I had to cut out the "H" which was pretty messy, but got it done regardless
Forgot to take a picture of the new emblem housing, but I test fitted it and cut some parts down to make it look flush. After I was happy with how the emblem housing aligned with the grille, I used body filler to fill in the gaps and then sanded it down to make it flush with the housing.
And here's the final product!
I might get some bonding putty to fill in the small imperfections (first time working with body filler) even though they aren't visible from 3 feet away since they bother me, but overall I'm happy with the results.
I'll probably have the grille on the car after I get the RV6 installed this weekend along with the vibrant resonator.

Everyday I'm rofling
Very nice! I want this grille but for 11+

You can do it for 11+ also! you'll just have to get the 2013 JDM/Euro grill
then you can follow the same steps I did to get the "A" onto it
CU2 Dan did it which is what inspired me to try it out

Three Wheelin'
Looks kind of Mercedes Benz-ish or like the MDX grille. I like it though!

I just got mine in today. I must say it's pretty good quality, and comes in a OEM Honda Parts box. @ AsianBaller21 what are the part numbers for the 06 RL Emblem & Base?
Btw, the bars on the grille are chrome, but the outside trim is silver, not chrome. I will be painting the silver part black.

few questions
did you glue the A housing to hold it in the cutout prior to bondo(ing)
what did you use to paint the bondo area?
also is the silver trim removale

I just used regular black spray paint once I sanded everything out.
And yes, the silver trim is removable
