Okay y'all. Not sure if we're allowed to talk about torrents. So forgive if I am breakin the forum rules please.

Finally received the 2013 map disc and updated the system. Since people who already have the new update didn't want to share. I am willing to post up a torrent BUT will need some guidence on how to do so. I have never done a torrent before so now is the time for me to learn. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To be fair, that is the whole world for most people.

 

Use this to help you get the maps into the computer. Instead of ripping it to a flash drive though rip it to a folder on your desktop or someplace on your harddrive.

After you do that get this program called winrar install it, reboot
Then after you reboot, right click the folder and select compress, then next next next. And on your desktop you should have a compressed file of that folder you just right clicked.

You wanna upload that for the torrent. Because its smaller and compressed so your less likely to loose parts or have the file go courrupt.

I'm not sure how to do the torrent thing yet ill get back to you though.

 

As long as you get that torrent on here I will help you as the Maps will help many people including me. I'm surprised you guys haven't used torrent's yet, I don't even have an account.

For the DVD based navi atleast, burning the disc requires you to have the right type of CD and the right type of burner which can burn in the special manner required for the player to analyze it.

One of my first posts on azine was a very long thread about burning a modified DVD disc to produce a custom wallpaper. Theres a lot of info on there if u wanted to look into it more

I think he should upload it still and we can test it out with different methods, I have more than 50+ DVD-R's if that's what it runs on, its kind of like bootlegging XP, 7, or Vista. It just takes some time to get the perfect one.
