LED running lights that provide enought output to use as high beams

I wanted to let everybody know that I purchased a set of 9005 bulbs from V-Leds that I installed to get crisper white color from my DRLs. I was worried that I would lose high beam functionality when replacing these bulbs for the Nokya Artic White bulbs. But to my surprise, driving at night flashing the high beams, I noticed a visible light pattern from the LED bulbs. I do get the DRL malfunction warning light but that's because my resistors haven't come in yet. The bulbs I purchased are the 6K white 28 LED 13W DRL/Fog light bulbs. The bulbs are pretty pricey at $70 but the color is terrific. I will post some daylight and night time shots later on.

i got the same color, but it does not help highbeams what so ever, they pretty much became useless.

Here are a few pics of my setup to show the output. I will get some better pics in a lower light environment, but these are just to give you an idea. You can see the light shows up on the walls.

be careful with those.
i bought some exactly like that. 120 smd lefs.

its too big for the housing.

im running 68 SMD LEDs now but have a set of 120s that i cant use because its too big for the housing.

plus, you wont have high beams with just LEDs. if you get the kinds with the lenses on them like Killer posted, those may work for high beams but basic LEDs dont get you any light.

they look cool n all but im kinda missing my high beams.
i may just swap them out for artic white or hyper yellows
