Blown speaker?

Blown speaker?
I have the tech package. The front right door speaker is buzzing, is it blown? What is the most cost effective replacement option while maintaining the stock level of performance?
Thanks

When does it buzz? higher volumes with a lot of bass? lower volumes with a lot of bass?
Why not upgrade a little?
I just replaced all the door speakers in my MDX. My front door speaker was blown hence minor upgrade. It actually sounds A LOT better now with the new speakers (polk audios). Everything else is stock.

It buzzes mid / low...especially with male voices. It's getting worse and worse by the day, and I think maybe the driver's side is starting now too but with female voices. WTF? I don't even listen to it very loud.
I don't want to upgrade all 10 speakers and I don't want to mess with the balance, so I am just looking for a good replacement which won't mess with the overall audio balance. If I can get something a little better while doing so and not breaking the bank, that's fine. I just have no idea how to do that. For example I don't know what resistance levels the stock speakers have. I imagine the door speakers don't have tweeters built in so I guess I should buy speakers without tweeters? Do I need a crossover?

Mine were sound the same (09 with tech), getting buzz and static when listening to talk radio and even radio commercials. I ordered these from Crutchfield Pioneer TS-G1644R 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers — for 6-1/2" and 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com but technically speaking, you only need 1 way speakers since we have separate tweeters.
A bit pricier on Crutchfield, but you get the wire harness and mounting spacers included at their price, so it's worth the piece of mind.

It's a bit more treble since I'm running the one off the new speaker and off the OEM ELS system, but my ears adjusted. Can't tell the difference now. Just happy to not hear static and cracking.

I had the same exact issue
If it's the tech package the els will make non stock speakers sound off. Not wanting to have to redo everything I just bought a replacement from oemacuraparts.com it was 46$ for a replacement and sounds great. Whoever owned the car before me prolly did some damage. Anyways it's not hard to remove the door trim to get the speaker out. there's a YouTube video I found that has a step by step.
