unlocking issue

Hi all,

Few months ago when I would lock the car with remote no beep and I noticed the passenger rear lock wouldn't lock or open but it got fixed by it self now once in a while the main lock wouldn't unlock all the doors with the remote and I have to use the key to unlock the car.

Is this a lock actuator issue?

Is what you're saying that when you use the remote to unlock the car, it only unlocks the driver door and not the other doors? If that's the case, you can change that in the car's settings. Is that what you mean?

My car setting hasn't changed it would lock after leaving or unlock when you either put the car in park or take the key out but if I lock my car and go places come back I can't unlock my car with the remote only trunk gets unlocked but not the doors. Yesterday when I parked the car and took the key out the doors didn't unlock as it should have.

sounds like the door/lock actuator is going out.
you can either take apart your OEM one and clean the contact points out
or
buy a new unit and replace it

Oh okay, then yes, I agree with justnspace, it's most likely your actuator

compare part numbers between the first gen TSX with the second gen TSX to get your answer. you can have further confidence by looking at pictures and making sure everything is the same.

You can use these two acura dealer websites that sell parts cheaper than in-store dealerships.
www.oemacuraparts.com
www.acuraoemparts.com
they have diagrams and part numbers for you to compare.
