I just bought the h6315 pocket pc/phone. I am not a T-mobil user but a Cingular user.

I need to have the unlock code to my phone so that I can use it with my Cingular SIM card.

The only way to do this is to have a T-mobil contract for over three months.

I was wondering if someone (T-mobil user for over three months) can call T-mobil saying my phone is theirs so that I can have the unlock code.

I know, this sounds fishy. But not as fishy as the weird ass exclusivity agreement between HP and T-Mobil .

There's a right way and a wrong way to go about getting your GSM phone unlocked. Asking another customer to take a payment to lie and do something against the carrier's rules is not the right way.
