I got an email from Jin a couple days ago saying to send the $91.99 (discounted price) to their PayPal account and the kits would be back in stock end of August, which I assumed meant to be shipped out then. Do we still not have enough?

I recently did the install myself. Ill post some pics when I reach the minimum requirements but it was fairly straight forward for a beginner like myself. The license plate lights turned out to be excellent!

Any thoughts on doing this in red? For the sake of night vision, I mean.
The CU2 TSX has a blue mood light, one right up between the map lights, and then in the foot wells. Can those be swapped to red?
Further, I'd like to keep the license plate lighting white. Can I mix and match stuff like that?
Or would the red scream more "ricer" than it would "practical"?
Either way, I'm game for a group discount?!

they do have red LED covers or whatever they call it, just check out the exLEDusa site. why would you do blue instead of red on your vortex though? scientifically, red provides the least usable light, then blue, then white. thats the general trend i believe, so with red, its gonna be more difficult to see.

the blue light next to the moonroof controls and the light at the footwell are soldered in. so if you wanna switch them out it's not plug and play...gonna have to do some handiwork to swap it out. and if u dont know how, then you may fuck shit up.
but yea use the covers if u wanna test out it looks...better than being stuck with a color that sucks. one day i'll stop being lazy and test out my covers to see the different colors...

I think people keep saying they are interested, but not actually following through with it so it sucks for those that actually paid so far.
Same deal with every aftermarket parts..... ppl say interested, but talk means nothing to the vendors who actually have to account for cost.

yea i could've sworn i remember reading about tons more interest and he told me there were only 4 people who signed up. like what gives...i took time to keep pestering him about it...he took his time to make it happen...had to go to his higher ups and convince them...and now barely any interest. sigh. i think this was what he was afraid of even before setting it up. jin's a straight up guy though, he'll probably give you a discounted price...not as good as the group buy but better than retail. and no i'm not getting any sort of kickback for recommending his products. he's just a stand up guy and i have his product and can vouch for how good they are so that's all.

I looked on their site, but I didn't see a cover? Red might be in the lower end of total light, but does that matter at night? I'm looking for a map light that can be turned on, and won't blind the driver. Red would do that, as it doesn't affect night vision. Right?

It was night time so I tried doing it with the flash popped up... Caught it but the corner of the flash hit my thumb and fucked it up LOL I need the on board flash to sync my speedlights so yeah.. took it in. They had it for like 3 weeks, then said they couldnt fix it XD
