I think you're missing a 2pc 194 5 clear led wedge bulb. i'm assuming you're using these for the courtesy lights? you need 4 of them total...you have 1 pack of 2 right now.

the 5 power smd led ones are for your license plate bulbs right?

aside from that, i think you're all set.

i spent about 15 min trying to put the plastic cover back on, its a bitch. one edge of the plasti lines up, it doesn't slide in, the other side clicks into place. and it forms a big angle because one side is longer than the other if i remember right

Yeah, it's a pain!! I can't figure it out. Maybe the LED light is bigger than stock?

I just installed an exLEDusa kit in my TSX an hour ago, and when I got to the tag lights i saw what everyone was talking about, but i figured out it was actually the angle in which was trying to mount the cover. I was pushing it head on, but it actually goes in at more of a 45 deg angle. I'll add pics for anyone who's about to do this to maybe save you a headache. I was trying for about 15 mins before i just disconnected the whole thing and looked at it on a table lol... After i figured it out i gave myself a swift kick... So simple yet not intuitive at all.

Anyway, I'm loving the look of these LEDs! Thanks MrStak for pointing me to exLEDusa. I got the 5000K color temp, and it's fairly close to the color of the HID lamps, and matches well with the dash lights. I think the standard warm colored lights give more of a comfort feel, whereas these lights give a cool, crisp, clear look to the interior.

Yeah, this site is very useful. I was able to change out all interior lights to LEDS and add a pair of HID fogs for the front. Changed out low HID bulbs to 6k. Luckily I was close to DDM Tuning and got most of the parts from them. Though I had to removed front bumper to get to low beams and fogs. Took about couple hours. I might be able to help out local socal members if needed.

I replaced all of my interior lights & license plate bulbs with these:
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Acura-TSX-D...ura_df_01c.htm

I have a 2012 TSX in Bellanova White with the parchment leather interior & when these LED's light up at night they look amazing. It makes the interior look white & looks very classy. I had trouble replacing one of the bulbs for the driver side courtesy door light. The bulb wouldn't pull out & as I kept fiddling with it the housing fell right through the door. I had to use tweezers to pull it back through which took some time. Otherwise it was a very easy installation.

you will need a kit with resistors or add your own to make a led drl kit work.

i bouhgt a cree led but it doesnt cut it during bright sunlight. be sure the LED has leds on the sides to use the reflector as well as some straight out the front.

VERY useful thread, appreciate this page especially. With my short term memory I dont recall anything about the rear turn signals, can they be swapped for LED's?

rear turns will hyperflash if you swap out to led's. you'll need resistors. and i don't remember if led turns are as bright as the stock bulbs.

If you are replacing any neo-wedge dashboard / switch lights with LEDs, don't get LED replacement bulbs from "warden jp" on E-Bay who ships from Hong Kong. The bulbs for tHe HVAC control & the green one for my cruise control were ok but the other colors (blue & amber) were too long to fit in the bulb compartment. I sent him pictures of the bulbs being measured with a digital caliper to prove they were longer than his specs he has posted and he wouldn't send me replacements for his screw-up. He wated me to pay $5 in postage to send back $3 worth oh bulbs to Hong Kong!

So I spoke to exLED and it seems like they're having some trouble with the main hq getting the official go ahead to be a vendor.

Good news is, they're going to attempt to set up a group buy over at their website. It hasn't been set up yet since things are pretty hectic with them but I was told that once it's up, I'd be sent the link for all of you guys to sign up and start it up. Thanks for being patient with them! Jin, over at exLED really wants to set it up but he's got a ton of projects on his shelf so yea.

check out sylvania.com and look up your year and model car...it'll tell you what bulb types you need for the interior and exterior lights.

gigabyte: I know it has been almost 2 years since this post. I feel like an ass for not responding, but I received no notification that you posted a question in response to my original post. I've just gotten back and more active in the forums after buying my second Acura (2013 RDX). Not that it likely matters anymore, but in repsonse to your original question the blues are awesome (litmus test: My wife and her colleagues at work, who unfortunately all have 0 interest in cars, love the blues). Going to do it again in the new RDX.

As mrstak stated you will need resistors to stop the hyper-flash (atleast on my 2010 I did, as it does not have a replaceable flasher module). As far a brightness goes I do not see a difference from stock bulbs - I smoked my lamps, so they are less bright than clear lenses. As far as looks go, only a car enthusiast will notice the difference - Instead of the fading in and out of stock bulbs, the LEDs go completely off and on - Obviously not the same look as true LED lamps found in other makes.

Note on install: Took me a few minutes for each bulb in the rear and I mounted the resistor to the inside of the body next to the lamp housing using silicone, so there would be no rattling.

The fronts were harder - I'm not one to take off the entire bumper to replace bulbs, so I removed some of the mounting pins in the wheel housing and squeezed my hand up in there to swap out the bulbs and again adhered the resistors to the inside of the body. Interestingly the driver side front indicator did not require a resistor - It worked without hyper flash, but I had to put a resistor into the front passenger side.

the ones i got from warden_jp are a cool blue/xenon-ish color. you can choose what color you want from exledusa.com. their bulbs are brighter with more smd's than warden_jp.
