Got mine in tonight. I went with the 5000K pure white. They're so bright! I ended up setting the brightness on the 2 map and dome light to 25%. Install took about 45 mins. I was being careful not to scratch stuff up.

So I went to install LED's in my doors and messed up and now the plug fell in my door. Both front doors. Anyone know how to get it out without taking the whole door apart?

I have a 2009. All I did was pop 3 bitch clips off of the trim of the interior trunk lid and I was able to reach inside and pop the lights off. I'll have to get setup my tripod and get some good night shots sometime.

Did you try to twist the lights out instead of pulling straight out or did you try to push the LED in too hard?

the only difference is in the 2009 and 2010, you can pop open the black liner right under the lights and change them that way whereas on the 2011 and 2012's you can't because we have that chrome piece. if we try to pop out the chrome piece, we'll likely break it or scratch it so its better to get to the license plate lights from inside the trunk. pop open the clips, pull out the trunk liner and you have access to the entire license plate light housings which you squeeze from the sides to pop out and then do your business. i hope that wasn't too confusing...

This looks damn good... Anyone do any LED conversion on the SE? I gotta take another look at it tonight.. I know the floor wells are red and there is a red ambient light that shines over the center console (which is only really relevant when doors are closed)..

Gotta figure out what combo would look best.. I like the red foot wells...

EDIT: The white LED + the red foot wells should look fine.. the red foot wells are pretty dim though I think it might look better to brighten them up a bit.

The bulb was hard to get out, I felt like I was going to break it in between my thumb and finger so I tried to twist the plastic part and get more leverage and it just fell in the door haha. And I did it twice lol. Whats the best way to get it out?

The foot well lights aren't easily replaceable. The overhead accent light and footwell lights on non-SE's are blue. The exLED kit consists of 4 vanity mirror lights, 2 front map lights, 4 door lights, 1 dome light, 1 trunk light, and 2 license plate lights. exLED will also allow you to customize the colors of the lights on their website so you can mix and match colors.

The light is a plug style light, it's either push or pull for the other 2 doors lol. I think the same thing happened to someone else in this thread and they were able to fix it.

Thanks for the info .. I'll probably just go with all white as you have done. I've read about the footwell lights and I know it's not a plug and play type deal.. we'll see...

Hey should have asked this earlier.. is setting the brightness pretty straightforward and documented in the kit?

There is no documentation, you just get nicely packaged LED lights. Brightness adjustment is just a variable resistor with a Phillips head adjustment. 0% to 100% is 1 full rotation of the resistor. I set it as low as it would go and gave it a 1/4 turn brighter. You can see the resistor on the right side of the board in the vid. Front map lights have the same adjustment on both.

I got the 5000K kit which is pure white, 6000K has a hint of blue. 5000K matches the HID's pretty well.

If you twist the socket 90 deg. It can fall through the hole, into the door.

Yes what he said lol. The first one was an accident, my friend was lookin at the bulb to see if he had the right size to give me and the second one I messed it up lol. now they are both chillin' in there "bulb caves" I thought about just giving up and trying to stick the led in place with it still in the door but it's nearly impossible. I got both bulbs out of the socket but now the plug is in the door. It's been like that for almost a year now lol

The lil screw next to the "BRT" controls the brightness. Just turn it with a screwdriver

Yeah, I thought that if you twist the housing it would pop out or something but it was as stiff as a boner. Gonna dig into this a bit more since a white LED in there would be pretty sick lol

Hmmm, it's sold as an assembly of it's own so I'll just assume it's possible(Then again, any thing's possible LOL). Gonna take out the glove box when I have time to see how to get this lil thing out and what it looks like.... Couldn't find any pics of it other than these parts diagrams :\

I have a 2012 TSX in Bellanova White with the parchment leather interior & when these LED's light up at night they look amazing. It makes the interior look white & looks very classy. I had trouble replacing one of the bulbs for the driver side courtesy door light. The bulb wouldn't pull out & as I kept fiddling with it the housing fell right through the door. I had to use tweezers to pull it back through which took some time. Otherwise it was a very easy installation.
I just purchased these, I give them a whirl. Thx for the heads up.

Installed mine a couple of months ago. I love the blue. It complements the car very well.
