I have the Si flywheel, but it's not exactly the same, it's like 2.1lbs lighter. I bought it because Utah's other 1 off turbo build ( i forget the dudes name), did it and had no problems. But without flashpro I went in limp mode like 3 times in two weeks while at highway speeds. I can't consciously sell that to someone and know I am putting them at risk for an accident because I withheld information. I think there is just a slight enough difference that it can cause problems.
I also don't have an ELD wire anymore (electrical load distribution), because that's what hondata uses for wideband AFR haha. I don't know if I could pull that stupid pin out again without damaging it lol. It was a bitch the first time.
optimusaccord!
I think everyone else in this thread pretty much agrees you should at the very least part out your supercharger. I'm not saying you should do it cuz I personally wanna buy it off you, but honestly the thing is likely discontinued at CTE and if you've seen the FB FS group, you should know what you can get from it.
I do however agree that it may be a bit more difficult to sell your car with the Si flywheel installed due to possibility of limp mode, but worst case you can just keep a useless flashpro to yourself and sell the car with a stock (or even base) map already on it with the CEL checkbox still checked off. Although if you wanted to keep your morals in check, just drop the tranny and go back to stock there too. FP is worth at least 500 USD or something, and you could possibly even sell the used clutch+flywheel to some Si guy for a discount. You'd still win.
If it's really about time (or lack of) to part things out, then you'll have to accept that your parts won't be worth anything on the car, and I'm sure we all respect your decision. But at the end of the day, I think we all just want you to get the most money out of your sale(s).

Anyone notice that in their TSX the RPM gauge is kind of sticky and there is not perfectly smooth when moving, especially in drastic RPM changes? I am refering to the actual needle, it seems lazy and it needs a good greasing. Not a big deal, just kind of annoying.
The idea was to keep the car forever haha but I've had it since 2008, and now 3 years boosted lol. I'm ready to move on. Agreed on everyone's points. I'll let you guys know if the truck trade goes through.
We can move on to the next subject... sticky needles I guess ^^^
I need to decide the tyres do buy to my CU3 Accord (your TSX in US).
I have like 12hours to drop an email to cancel 225/40-19 and get the 235/40.
235/35 are out of the question for me ....
I went to the shop and did some trials on my AEZ Crest darks rims. 19x8 with ET50.
I have some pictures there of them mounted. Looks awsome. But i need to decided the tyres... : My main concerns are there in the last post.
Here is a taste of how it looks from one of the pics
I have this baby for 9 years now... planing to change the look from OEM 17's
I really dont want to do any fender work.... or have rubbing.... otherwise i dont have approval in the inspection. (Yes.. in shitty portugal.. you need to do tests.. to get aproval and be legal on the road. Any rub will cost me 150usd for the garbage...)
My plan was to keep my 3G forever and that didn't end up working out either.
In hindsight, I probably should have just kept it and been happy. But as a car person, I kept thinking, how boring...I'm gonna be on my deathbed saying I only drove 3 different cars because it made financial sense.
I'm at 65k! Malibu is eating up a lot of miles so the clock is ticking even slower now.
A few streets over in my parents neighborhood the water got into the houses. They've stayed dry but it's dangerously close to them. My uncle who lives 1/2 mile away wasn't so lucky...

I got lucky and filled up both cars a few days before everyone panicked. Each tank lasts me around 2 weeks. I'm assuming things will be back to normal pretty soon.

We're getting there already. I have a full tank (don't do a lot of driving as I live close to work) and my wife has a half tank. We're good for a while I think.
when we upgraded the wife's daily, she really liked my TSX so we went and checked out the TSX wagons...we weren't impress, we opted for brand new Subaru Forester instead. This year I test drove the new tacoma TRD PRO and I wasn't impress with the ride and cab space. Test drove the new Ridgeline and I think I might be sticking with the Honda family again. I don't need the towing capacity that Tacoma offers I just need the bed space. Just waiting on stealership to give me in-voice price and bye bye TSX.
So I know this happened a few months ago... but I've realized photobucket is now charging $400 a year for image hosting, when it was free in the past. Now 80% of my build thread are broken photos. Obviously no one is going to pay $400 a year to host old photos on a forum, but I kinda always thought I would leave my legacy here.
I'm thinking there is no way to migrate the links right? I'm sure a lot of DIY and useful information is lot forever now.... so sad.
AZ is doing something to re-host the most pertinent ones.
I don't know all the fancy mumbo jumbo words to tell you exactly how.
I lost most of my DIY stuff too.
Ridgeline, huh...I dig it, but there's a lot of criticism on the styling.
Versatile little truck. I think the Tacoma will probably have the best residual value, they are holding and climbing like crazy.
Whats the deal with the rose accent vs clear tailights on our cars? My 12 has a rose tint to the tailight in the clear area, where I've seen other TSX's be totally clear.
