Hello folks, been a minute.
I'm thinking of handing down my TSX to my sister and getting a new car. I'll be trading in the ol' reliable RDX as well. Just wondering what yall think about a few of the options. Still want to stick with JDM, so either Lexus or Infiniti is what it boils down to IMO. Basically I'm thinking about a G37S, Q50S, 11-13 IS350 [F-Sport] if available or a 14'-older Q60S if I go for a coupe.
Definitely need to drive these cars, but on paper that's what I'm deciding between. Anything else I should consider? I really just want more POWA...and reliabilty (sorry German bros).
Oh, I actually did drive a Q50 recently, was happy with the power from the short drive I had, was unimpressed with how much road noise I was hearing (sounded like more than the TSX), but it was on pretty crappy, bumpy construction ridden roads.

I talk a lot of shit, but Audi and BMW reliability is actually damn good these days
If you want small form factor and power I'd consider a 3 or 4 series.. maybe a 340i
Or a Golf R.. you put a 1k tune on it and you're in the 12s, +downpipe and intake and you're in the 11s.
Get the DSG though.

Wanted to go for something RWD. Plus the little I've read about it is uninspiring. Transmission issues, that might just be older ones though? The new A-Spec ones look nice, however I wouldn't shell out that kinda cash for one.
Yeah, I agree, I thought the 2 screen setup is pointless. Inside makes you feel like you're in a Nissan.
With the German car nowadays I think its the electronics that's the problem. And after 60K miles you don't know what you're getting. It can be reliable or a money pit.
I've always loved the GTI/Golf segment from VW.
