But I bet you've seen the new girl version, right?

Stop. You are hereby released from work early to go home and netflix/prime/steal/whatever the original Ghostbusters to watch. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $34.50. Do not come back until you've seent it.

This is unacceptable.

I did go see "Jigsaw" at a theater with Dolby Speakers hanging every 2 inches of the ceiling.
and must have had like 8 billion subwoofers, cuz I have never experienced cooling seats at a theater with massage functions

the ticket was only 2 dollars more for more speakers. LOL

they say aside from the internet...the reason the movies have a harder time now is that back in the golden age, you had to rely on full feature movie theaters to see anything racy...now it's moved to TV.

I saw the girl one too...it was actually damn funny.

Super hero movies are the worst. They're all the same boring concept over and over and over.

meh, that's a cop out.
when they actually start making GREAT movies, again...
because theateres are an experience. you pay for an experience. dafuq i wanna pay for a shitty movie experience for?
kinda like cars, right? lol you wouldn't pay for a shitty car experience.
probably why the TLX gets a lot of flack. "I paid $40k for this junk!?"

I think the last movie that really wowed me was Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Saw it in an arthouse Cinema and it was the original version/ending. The visuals and sound track we're stunning. I bought it shortly after.

The next movie that I thought was near great was Interstellar. It was mostly great but I think a lot of that might have come down to the aural trickery that was used to build the drama.

But for sure Crouching Tiger.

I like my dashcams without LCD screens. smaller footprint and you're not fumbling with the device.
grab one with the latest sony sensor!
or you can do the tried and true Blackvue..
Thinkware is good too.

I wishlist things with the noted "average" price and then BUYBUYBUY when it drops to that point.

so took teh car in, because steering/accelerating didn't seem so stable. After a couple days they called and think its an issue with the aftermarket axle. THey are going to installed a refmanufactured OEM axle now. I'll see how it is tmrw

so original repair on my axle, they found out, the tech got the wrong part and thats why it didn't fit. so they ended up doing an aftermarket axle, which i didn't feel good about. brought it back and they told me the tech messed up originally and they put a remanufactured oem axle now. drives great.

oh and when i was about to leave, i usually do a walk around my car and saw they scraped the right side of my bumper. a new one was installed like a year ago. sigh.

i'm going back wed to drop my caroff again for a week.

I do have the original for '11STi in Japanese, including a separate one with accessory kits. Just need the STi now haha.

got my car back and they fixed the damage so all good there.

but i took my car for a quote to respray the hood and bumper and bummed out i would need to wait a few weeks after getting it sprayed to apply a clear bra.

but by then i'll have several rock chips again....so im going to hold off on it.

For now.

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I think I broke a toe on New year's Eve... Got out of the truck and walked through a parking lot, took a full stride kick to one of those concrete parking bumper things. Middle to is all fucked up.

I probably need to think of a better story though, because that is probably the lamest way to do it.

reminds me of the movie "Earnest Goes to Prison"
prisoners were in line for chow and of course it's a ball of hamburger. CO's made them lift their arms and placed the ball of meat under their armpits. lower arm and instant patty!
