Alright guys I have a difference of opinions with my wife about something, and I need some rational thinking humans beings to back me up... So I have an adorable siberian husky, and she is considered a medium sized dog which puts out medium sized poops. I live on about 1/4acre of land, and my house takes up about half of that space. So my back yard isn't thaaaat big, but it's decent. The problem I am having is when guests come over there is poop all in the yard. I have been getting a shovel and placing it in the far corner but now it is starting to pile up.
Sooooo... my thought is to place some "non attention grabbing" bucket, maybe tin, or plastic or something and fill it with half way with soil. Then deposit the poops in the soil. Now the 2nd part to this is to add worms to the bucket. The worms would break down the fecal matter and eliminate the waste completely until the soil could actually be used for planting/potting etc... It's a brilliant idea!
However, my wife thinks this is disgusting and thinks we should just put a trash bin in the corner and deposit the poops inside the trash bag. Then the trash bag gets full and you would put it in larger trash for the garbage company to pick up. My problem is the fact that I (meaning my wife wont do it) will have to literally LUG a pile of shit to the trash can, and then deposit the bag. Then go back and put a new trash bag in and restart the whole process....
I mean... I am already picking up shit, but why not let the worms handle the composting of the shit rather than me having to carry a bag of shit to the road side??-- Am in the wrong here? Why do extra work when we can get animals to do it for us??? #teamworms

Thousands of worms every year die from starvation. Employing these worms to eat your poop would be giving them a second chance at life. You could get a nice looking stainless steel box type contraption that will look appealing to visitors. Maybe draw a cartoon worm on the side of it eating a turd for a little relevant light humor. If your wife isn't the one picking up the poops then why does she care where you put it? Plus in a few months when its warm enough, you can use that soil to grow some poop tomatoes! Put them on a sandwich or just eat them raw, the possibilities are endless.

I've always thrown the shit away. Sunday afternoon, go out with a 5-gallon bucket with a trash bag inside. Cruise through the yard with the pooper scooper, depositing shit in bag in bucket. After complete, bag of shit goes in trash wheelie-bin that goes out to the curb for Monday morning collection.
Then the yard is mostly shit free for mowing.
So, I'd have to side with your wife. Shit goes to the dump.
Growing up, my neighbors had a "compost" pile that was mostly dog shit and a couple egg shells. Most fucked up thing ever. I know it's supposed to break down into good compost matter, but most dogfood these days doesn't leave much left over.
YMMV.

Plus. Whatever she says... She's right.
Secret to a long marriage. Just suck it up. Throw the shit away, grumble about it while you do it, but just do it. Pick your battles. Sleeping on the couch and playing with your own pickle isn't worth "winning" an argument over literal shit.

cu2wagoneer makes a really good point. If she really does care about where the poop goes then just do it her way. You seem to have a pretty great marriage and probably get away with your fair share of things(spending money on your car for example). Let her have her poop.
Sorry Joe.

Poop engagement! Congrats poop colored wheel guy! Did you pick up any JDM parts while there? Or just a JDM engagement?

lool. Just a JDM engagement. On that note... didn't see a single CU2 there. Guess they're not very popular in Tokyo. Did see a couple GTRs and a lot of cool Kei cars though!

Maybe $1000? Not really sure... but you got 2 metal panels (door and quarter), the side skirt, and if you're really picky, it looks like a tiny bit of the rear bumper is scratched too. That's a lot of respraying if you want to fix it properly. Might be able to get away with touch up on the rear bumper.

Better get used to ridiculous decisions you'll have to end up making. Sometimes it's better to "just no give a shit" lol

Congrats on the engagement Gary! ![RIP](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smitty.gif)
Random question, but what viscosity oil are you guys using?
I've been using Mobil 1 0w20 Synthetic since I've owned the car (40,000 miles) now at (112,000 miles) and wondering if it's ok to continue using it?

Mobil 1 0w20 every time for my car too. I have a 2011 so that's the viscosity that they list.
For 2009-2010 they list the other one..5w20? I forget.

Thanks!!
Thanks!! I've been on 0W20 synthetic oil exclusively since my first oil change. Used Mobil 1 (the green one) a couple of times, switched to Castrol Edge synthetic as well as Valvoline synthetic, haven't really noticed much difference really. Oil is quite black each time I do the oil change though (too much VTEC?
).
Yup, 0W20 for 11+. 5W20 for 09-10.

oil color isn't a really good indicator of health of oil. If you're concerned about intervals, do a UOA from Blackstone lab. I use 5w-20 Mobi 1 EP pretty religiously .
