Hey fellas! Just wanted to update you all that I got my shocks and struts replaced as well as my rotors. But now there is another issue. I purchased new tires, bfgoodrich g force comp 2 a/s to be exact, and I here this like whirring sound coming from the new tires. I hear it when i drive at a slow speed or when coming out of a turn. Here is a video I found of the sound
I dont have run flats and the psi isn't low. I hwve also tried lowering the psi but the sound is still there. I already made an appointment to get it checked out but just wanted to see if you guys knew anything about it. Thanks in advance

why would you lower PSI!?!??! lol a flat tire would cause MORE SOUND!!!!!!

whats your tire pressure currently??

and have you swapped tires from front to rear?

and i didnt listen to the video, but have you considered that the tire just might be a noisy tire????

Election wise, no. It was pretty standard as far as elections go. It's the candidates, this time, which made this a no-win circus.

But if you thought the rest of the world hated the USA before, ohhhh doggy, just wait!

Lol My psi was originally at 37 Front 36 Rear. I lowered then to 34 Front 33 Rear. The thing is that it only does it it when I first start driving. Once it gets going the sound is no longer there.

ahhh! that's specifically the tire and its rubber compound.
the phenomenon is commonly called tire flat spotting. kind of flattens out when not driven, then as the tire heats up it will revert back to its shape. and makes sense as a flat or square tire will make noise.

lol which is another reason why I lowered the psi. It gets hot over here and they shoot up to 42. Now that I lowered then they're not in the 40s

that makes a lot more sense now. Did you happen to watch the video? Is that the sound that is caused from the tire flat spotting? I'm just worried that something is messed up or that I'm in the process of screwing something up the more I drive.

agreed with the other fellas.

that video does not correctly display your problem because that tire has a bubble in the sidewall.
unless your tires have bubbles, kinda cannot compare the two.

IF your noise goes away after you've driven it, I believe its flat spotting. google flat spotting to see if that accurately describes your problems
what tire brand and model do you have?

Are you talking about the bolts that attach to the caliper bracket? Can you clarify?

Try McMaster-Carr?

If you can figure out the size, you can likely find something there. I wonder if @ssjoeboe9 could help with figuring out what grade those bolts are.

mmmmm bolts are tuff cause they aren't always called out on our dwgs, additionally that's gunna be a super old part dwg (Also done in Japan which can add to the difficulty of finding the right information)

But upload another picture with arrows pointing to where you need bolts, and post the part number and I will try my best.

You can try contacting FatFourCustoms (FatFour Customs - Purveyors of custom Honda Accord parts). They've been providing brackets for the RL Advics conversion for a long time now, and I wouldn't be surprised if they might knew a thing or two about the calipers. You could make the case that you've purchased brackets from them (assuming you did) and maybe ask for some information/help about the caliper bolts. Who knows maybe they have replacement bolts themselves.

Werd Werx (https://www.facebook.com/WerdWerx/) might be another option as well. They appear to be one of the more popular places to goto for getting a set of RL calipers powdercoated (very decent reputation online) and I wouldn't be surprised if they've salvaged some RL calipers themselves and had to get replacement bolts.

edit:
Some more info here http://fatfourcustoms.com/shop/calip...e-upgrade-kit/.
