Whenever I brake hard/fully push down the brake pedal when coming to a stop I hear this groaning noise. Anyone know what it is? It only seems to happen sometimes.

Check rear pads, I used to hear a screetching noise when braking sometimes, eventually I heard it every time I braked. Rear pads needed replacement as they were worn down to the little metal clip that grinds with the rotor.

sometimes. That's the ABS coming in. If you are hearing a higher pitched noise then your pads need replacing... but your car is pretty new so i highly doubt the brakes are worn.

Drove my moms car and its makes the same noise. Guess I've never noticed it before. I'll check the pads to make sure tho.

28 is decent, but I guess you also have to factor in what your GPA is along with that score.

Fugure a standard bell curve with approximately 25 being the mean. 28 is within 1 standard deviation, maybe in the 55-60th percentile.

The highest possible is 45, but no one really gets that close. Most people max out at 35ish. I want to say 35+, you're seen as a genius.

My friend got a 27 with 3.7-3.8 GPA and he had interviews with George Washington, Temple and some others I can't remember and most if not all Florida schools. But then again he's black and his odds to get in with those scores are 70-85%..

Yeah it's insane. For the same scores for an Asian person, your chances are 15% or less. I forgot what the website said.

I wonder why they would randomly decide to make it now... after the car is EOL. should have come much earlier.

Regardless... It's a sign of more support for this chassis.. My heart smiles every time a performance part is made specifically for our car (they also prob realize they have a monopoly on the market for lack of quality U.S support like the cs22 accord).. I just bought a fucking obx greddy knockoff for the cs22 accord off ebay too to test fit for single muffler out.

And rawger you cheated fucker.. U looked at my post on the performance section lol

Haha, I actually believe that JB is a better coach than JV too, lol. First 3 game win streak in awhile. It's kinda bittersweet. I like to see this team win and play good, but this season is a waste, so I want another top pick also. As long as there is improvement from the guys and we lose close games, I think it's a win-win.

Used. Under 35k. Not sure what the RX would get in the market, but it's seldom used and they just want to get rid of it. I've thought about looking at the E-class.

My brother just traded his 2006 530xi for a 2011 535 xdrive and that thing is NICEEE!! I would recommend taking a look at it. Also the new E350's look so nice. Their MMC Headlights/Taillights are a beauty. And what about the GS350?

Well back to the dealer she goes. So far I've had a problem like once every 2-3 months with this damn car.. Only 20k miles now, can only imagine what happens after 100k. Love the car but its been a headache with all the problems.

GS is another good option, forgot about that. Plus i'd at least be reliable.

What all problems have you had? I don't drive much, but *knock on wood* mine has been solid at 45k. I want new brakes and tires in the near future.

I could do something similar with one of my vehicles (sorry, can't remember which one. WPP, right?) under the right circumstances. Typically at low speed like bleeding of the final little bit of momentum coming to a full stop. Right before the pads would finally grip the rotor and cause it to fully stop, I could just slightly left off brake pressure so the car would keep rolling and it would start doing a low frequency groan.

The other way was starting from a dead stop with the brakes fully engaged... Let off the brakes pedal just enough to start moving and I could get it to groan.

I'm like 99% sure that was just brake pad vibration. Sounds like you're hearing it when you're on the brakes hard though.

Can you tell where the noise is coming from? Front or back? Is it consistent with applying the brakes, like it only happens while you have a certain pressure on the pedal or does it just happen briefly during constant brake pressure like it might be a rubber bushing moving and rubbing against metal?
